My wife is becoming alt-right

She has been reading blogs and supporting Jair Bolsonaro for President in the elections coming up in October. I am a Barry Goldwater style classical conservative. I have coached her to hate socialism over the years. Did you know that InfoWars is international? I guess the alt-right in other countries and Trump here in the USA teaches us that being "anti" doesn't cut it. My wife even says I made a mistake by not voting for Trump. Trump wouldn't have been nominated in the primaries if Chicago School economics and Christian social values had been the standard. I like how Bolsonaro dedicated his impeachment vote against Dilma to the military official who tortured her. A Communist terrorist like Dilma deserved to be tortured, not residing at the Planalto. However, Bolsonaro takes Trump's negative qualities and squares them. One example is when a female congresswoman criticized Bolsonaro for voting against a certain sexual assault related bill, Bolsonaro replied on the congressional floor that she had nothing to worry about because no man could stomach raping her.

Uh, no. You seem to think the two are somehow connected. They are not. That's the beauty of having women that know their place. You can have both!!

A mistress just becomes another wife. It's far better to play the field or go Charlie Sheen--pay them to leave.

Your personal life seems to be as vile and immoral as your political stances. Not much of a wonder your wife has lost her mind and fawns over the overweight serial adulterer in the white house.

You coached your wife and she isn't following your coaching? :) Is she by any chance white? If so, it sure blows a big hole in Hillary's proclamation that white women who voted for Trump are being told to do that by their husbands, sons, boy friends, bosses etc. We couldn't possibly think for ourselves. :) (Just teasing a bit.)

But nobody deserves to be tortured for any reason whatever their views and whatever their deeds. And those who do that should not be commended. (Lets not derail the thread by getting into the semantics of what constitutes torture.) Therefore, I would see Bolsonaro's admiration for the brutal two decades of military dictatorship in Brazil as very troubling as well as his views against equal opportunity for all.

Really the only thing Bolsonaro and President Trump have in common is they have both been married three times.

You're right. Since my wife found out there are some new rules that I actually agree with. A "mistress" only lasts as long as a vacation. Like she put it: If you're going to go play in a dumpster, that's one thing. If you bring garbage into our home, that's intolerable. DO NOT let me see international numbers appear on your cell phone. The time that it did happen, she called the number back and shouted "Stop calling my husband, you little slut." Oops, she was slut shaming! I bet feminists would be outraged.

My wife told me that back when she was 18, her boyfriend's wife gave her dad an earful.

She looks like a typical South American indigenous person. Think of a grown up version of Dora the Explorer. What sets her apart is that she is very serious about weight and muscle tone. She has legs that are like steel springs.

Tell her that Trump's fave book in the bible is 'two corinthians'. His fave author--and the hero of evangelicals everywhere-- Paul, thinks women should wait at home and if they have any questions they should expect their man to explain things to them when/if they feel like the time is right.

So you simply cannot be a free thinking right wing woman. It's not possible.
