Should Women

With all the conversations and controversy in the arena of men and sexual propriety, is this the inevitable outcome? Has the proverbial pendulum swung far enough to the other side that we are now seeing a more or less organic movement towards a state where women are empowered to "make the first move" and essentially set the tone for dating and romance?

Re: Should Women

I'm pretty sure women are already doing that -- and yes, it's fine.

Re: Should Women

Women have been doing that for quite some time now. But if it is in the workplace it still has to be done with extreme caution.

No, because if they won't approach me, I don't want them approaching anyone else :)

Re: Should Women

Yeah that's been going on a very long time... possibly forever.

Women tend to be a smidge more subtle about it, but many of them will make overtures if they are interested. You just have to be paying attention, since they usually won't club you over the head with it. :)

Re: Should Women

I think some guys are fine with it, while some others might be bothered. Have you guys read Sherry Argov's book, "Why men love bitches"? She claimed that when a woman chases a man, it throws cold water on his desire.

I am a woman (well, last time I checked, anyway ;)), and I have always chased any guy that I liked. Granted it was on the internet so it was easier to do, but still. And I can say that I have always had success, and I am not pretty at all.

Yea but some guys need to be clubbed over the head to understand what is happening lol. Admittedly I was one of them. I've connected with old friends on FB or things and in talking I've had a couple females claim they were laying it on pretty thick back then and I was oblivious.
