10 Things Every Intersectional Feminist Should Ask on a First Date:
I’ll bite.
1. Do you believe that Black Lives Matter? No more, nor less, than any other people's lives do.
2. What are your thoughts on gender and sexual orientation? There are only two genders (Male and Female); the rest is fantasy. However, sexual orientation is biological, not a “choice.”
3. How do you work to dismantle sexism and misogyny in your life? I don’t hate women, I love them. BTW, what are you doing about your misandry (hated of men)? Also, how did women coopt the term sexism, when it’s true definition is discrimination based on sex?
4. What are your thoughts on sex work? As long as everyone is a consenting adult, I’m good with it.
5. Are you a supporter of the BDS movement? No! I support the existence of Israel, and if the Palestinians don’t want to assimilate, they can move to Jordan (or wherever).
6. What is your understanding of settler colonialism and indigenous rights? Settler colonialism is ancient history. Meanwhile, I was born here and that makes me a “native American” now. If you are asking about Amerindians, then they deserve some reparation for the value of the land taken to be invested in developing their current territories. That's about it.
7. Do you think capitalism is exploitative? Sure, since the idea is to make a profit on one’s production/efforts. That means trying to get more value than the labor and materials cost.
8. Can any human be illegal? I guess that depends on the law, which is a human construct. Perhaps you didn’t phrase the question properly? In any case, if you are referring to “illegal Immigrants,” illegal refers to acting illegally by crossing national borders in order to seek/obtain benefits native citizens pay for, or their society created.
9. Do you support Muslim Americans and non-Muslim people from Islamic countries? I accept any American citizen who upholds the law, and respects my rights equally. I am not concerned about Muslims from other countries unless they are trying to kill me and my fellow Americans.
10. Does your allyship include disabled folks? If you mean have I had friends who are disabled? I have.
Sooo...are we going to date or are you going to lecture me on my "racist, sexist, misogynistic, nationalistic, islamophobic, homophobic, cis-gendered," etc., etc., etc.?
Because if you do, I'd rather find someone else to dance with.
