This former feminist is somewhat surprised that he finds in his 50's that this is actually true...that when women want us enough they will forgive us anything and everthing.

My relationship guru David Deida agrees with me I am pretty damn sure though he has never had the guts to say so so far as I has seen.

How do you feel about that?
 
Who the hell doesn't do what they want? And why the heck would one be doing that needs forgiven?

Depends on what "do as we want" means. If you leave the toilet seat up or leave toothpaste in the sink, what women who loves you wouldn't forgive you? But if you do something that breaks trust or respect - that's a different story.
 
A real man treats women with respect, in spite of what he wants.

Not really. I mean, I can think of dozens of things off the top of my head that myself and other women haven't let men get away with. What sort of messed up women are you hanging out with?

Humans are social, cooperative creatures. A mentally normal human being should care how they affect their loved ones, and should also have enough self-respect to draw a line in the sand. Assholes are bad for society, and therefore they are always rejected from healthy groups. Doesn't matter if they're male or female.

But with 7 billion of us on the planet, I suppose it's not hard to find screwed up people with no standards and no empathy. Still, don't try to speak for the rest of us. :shrug:

it's all about being true to ones self...I do what I want :shrug:

integrity, truth, honesty, being whole... those things keep a human being on track

Or of women similarly training their men into a better version than what they were?

Sure. But like I said, that is not true of all people. It is only true of sociopathic idiots that 95% of us want nothing to do with, and they certainly aren't the "real men" of the world. Mentally healthy men are social, cooperative creatures, like all humans. Those men are sociopathic idiots.

They can stay over there while the rest of us act like actual human beings.

Well we all know how liberalism rolls...anything that that crew dont want to deal with they call out of bounds and illegal to talk about.

But then again I long ago rejected Victim Culture, and rejected this argument that those who claim to be my betters get to decide for me and get to decide for us what I and we are allowed to talk about, or get to decide what is in my head.

What does that have to do with liberalism? I thought conservatives were all about communities and families.

And who's telling you what to talk about? I'm just saying I think you're wrong. If anyone seems to be whining about being a victim, it's you.

Global Liberalism is not partisan, so called american conservatives long ago conformed to the demands of victim culture, though they have at times made a show of pretending that they have not, which is one of the major reasons Trump was able to walk over and take over the R party with hardly
any resistance.

But this is not a partisan question, this is a question on human nature.

If Human natures does not conform to the ideas in your head then I certainly dont give a ****, except to advise you to change those flwed ideas that you have running through your head ASAP.
