A vast majority of voters support the idea of a national mask mandate, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Eighty-two percent of registered voters in the July 26-27 survey said they'd support a national mandate to wear facial coverings, including 61 percent who "strongly" back the idea and 21 percent who "somewhat" support it.

Only 18 percent of voters oppose a national mandate on masks.

WOW. Just goes to show you what a loud minority the COVID deniers are!

Yeah, I'm calling BS on this poll. They don't actually break down the numbers on here for how many Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. That's EXTREMELY suspicious because there are MANY people around the country that do not like these masks. Of course Democrats would support it because they'd like to see people they don't like get hurt financially and thrown in jail, so no surprise there. The Republicans and Independents in the poll, that's what I'm questioning. I'm not saying there aren't any that want a mandate, but the percentage at where they're at? Are they diabetic, have high blood pressure, heart problems, overweight, older? This poll doesn't give out ANY of that, except the number, which was 948 registered voters. Speaking of that number, HOW IN THE WORLD DOES THAT REPRESENT ALL OF AMERICA!? We have over 320 MILLION people in this country and they have the audacity to say that 82% of Americans are for mandatory masks with only 948 people doing a survey? Of course, this is The Hill, so I shouldn't be surprised here because they're just like the rest of the media, with their polls trying to shape public opinion instead of reflecting it. If you want MY opinion, I think the ACTUAL percentage of people wanting mandatory masks is between 30-40% while 60-70% oppose it. They're uncomfortable, they don't block much, and, for the vast majority of people in this country, they're unnecessary. Better to build an immunity to this Chinese Virus like we did with the flu and the common cold, but if you want to wear one, go ahead. However, if we don't, we shouldn't be forced to and we shouldn't be cited nor thrown in jail over it. So again, yes, I call BS on this poll.
