You have seen many hours of hysterical news, please take the hour to watch a rational person talk about this and think about it. The fear is unhealthy and can lead to illness.
This is a conspiracy free video. Just facts.
The Fact-Free Lockdown Hysteria | Thomas E. Woods, Jr. - YouTube
When I looked at the date of the lecture and then saw so many people in class not wearing a mask .. including the speaker himself .. I pretty much knew this was another "the virus is a hoax" kind of video.
One of the things that's added to the pandemic's misery has been the politicizing of mask wearing.
Many people with unresolved controlled-by issues from childhood can react as adults in rather extreme ways, such as "telling me to wear a mask all the time is socialist control of me in violation of my freedoms!". And then pretty soon, because they're tired of wearing a mask everywhere, they start to conjure up fictions like "hardly anyone is dying", "the left is withholding approval of potential cures", and "it's all a conspiracy with China and WHO and the Democrats" .. and pretty soon they've convinced themselves there's no virus or it isn't that bad .. and they stop wearing a mask ... .
Folks, it's a pandemic, the virus is, by current calculations, 16.57 times intrinsically more deadly than the flu, older and infirm people are at severe risk from it, and our leaders are just trying to cope with this unprecedented situation and keep us as safe via masks and hand sanitizer and yet economically sane as possible so keep working and wear that inconvenient mask.
Sure, mistakes have been made. But many have been corrected. Everyone's just trying to do their best in this bad situation.
But there's no conspiracy here, no socialistic agenda with masks and quarantines etc.
The challenge is one that all Americans face, whether left, right, or center: to stay safe as can be .. without going broke.
It's a finesse of a fine balancing line that everyone, from medical experts to economy experts, is grappling with.
Hopefully it will all get figured out as soon as possible.
