Somwonw ask for a "national strategy"?

800K ain't no mike drop. For instance, what % provide results with 48 hours? If it takes longer to provide a positive test it extends the infection time for that person, yet many tests are taking a week or more for results. An order of magnitude increase in task of contact tracing. And just wait until the schools open. Theres 54 milion kids going to public schools so 800,000 a day won't be nearly enough and quick results are going to be crucial to protect America's children.

Like I said, a national coordinated strategy was lacking.

Well, they can't force governors, like Gavin Newsom, to follow the recommendations. I wonder if they recommended that CA open bars while their daily case counts were still increasing.

In March, Fauci was echoing the opinion of the Surgeon General, the WHO, and health officials generally. He changed his views when the evidence called for it. This is his pattern and what distinguishes him from the evidence-immune Right.

Perhaps it's your impression that because Trump negotiated for a Moscow hotel during the last election primaries he is negotiating for a Moscow hotel currently, and that explains his obeisance to Putin, or that because he has paid porn stars for sex there are porn stars currently visiting him nightly at the White House.
