Campaign rally lite!

Gibberish.....

I'm back to skipping Trump's COVID briefings. He never says anything useful and I know I'll hear about anything idiotic afterwards.

None of the local stations here covered his campaign speech, that is all they are now, most covered the funeral of a Great Man, no one is interested in listening to little brat in the WH now.
Tick, Tick, Tick, the clock is counting down on the clown show.

He thinks he is making the case for his re-election. Well, actually he is. He is making the case that he over his head and has no business in the White House.

Trump screwed up an incredible political opportunity. All he had to do was be the front man for his CV Task Force. Let them set the policy and Trump appear to be implementing and enforcing it. Had he done that, he might well be on the road to re-election. Now he is on the road to being a laughing stock of American history (as are all the people that supported him).

He has to make up bull**** comparisons in the vein hope he's making himself look good.

We have a Trump extreme light up here in Ontario. Most regret his election but he scored mega points with Ontarians by letting the science dictate and coming down hard on idiots.
At least Ford didn't need it to be all about him.

Trump simply doesn't have the character nor the ability to lead the nation in time of crisis. His performance is self evident. Manipulating America's Gullible, Always.

Past presidents have been able to rally the country in times of crisis; it's an opportunity to have divisions put aside for a common purpose. Trump could have seized that opportunity and had he supported the recommendations of his medical experts instead of pushing a divided strategy, there's a good chance it could have boded well for him despite the economic downturn. Now he has no economy to prop up as a success (unless there's some kind of miracle from now until November) and his mishandling of the pandemic to boot.

Yeah, I thought that was exceptionally daft. I don't think throwing stones is going to work well for him right now.

Color me stunned. I'd have thought stations in Texas would hang on his every word. Just shows that stereotypes never hold true. Thanks for the wake up.;)

Even Texas just ain't that into him anymore.

Trump is like a bad 70's rock band that just won't quit: the act is now pathetic but the band hungers for the attention. You just can't wait for the concert to end so that you can do something far more interesting, like go home and watch re-runs of something...

Texas was historically a Blue State, that changed in the 70s. The Liberals here are more conservative than those in NY or Seattle, but still Liberals all the same. As we talk Texas is changing again, Repubs are starting to lose their luster here, and the virus has not helped them much considering how they have handled it and having a Lt Governor that was willing to kill off those over 60 to open up the entire State. Oh there will be changes coming, polling right not have Biden and trump neck and neck in a State that some Repubs once considered in the bag for their side, those days are changing.
