Marc Benioff: Face masks can eradicate U.S. coronavirus spread in 'just three weeks'

Dunno about eradicate but it can seriously reduce the rate of spread. In just a few days even.

When did basic hygiene become a political stance?

Somehow I don't see wearing a mask as basic hygiene.

I'm an anti masker. Alive during WW II. And I handled it then and now,

Admittedly, I was a child but I don't recall any one, including myself and my parents, running around in a mask.

I'm not sure you have a point.

People sacrificed quite a lot during WW2 to support the war effort.

Today, the Greatest Generation's grandchildren are too whiny and entitled to bear mild discomfort for twenty minutes going through target.

Almost no one does. Not really. They pull them down below their noses so they can breathe.

all you guys are gonna do it make our recession much longer and much more harsh.

hey. congrats on the economy and debt. stand up job once again.

I had to wear one for a couple of hours today. Though a necessary evil, I don't know how people can stand to wear them all day long.

I wear one (or two) all day long . 12 Hour shifts. It really is not that hard.

And frankly, many people do not need to wear them all day long. Depends where or if they work. Depends what they have to do .

When I wear a reusable mask outside of work...it is easy knowing I am helping protect others in case I have unknowingly contracted it.

But.......our glasses are fogging up!!!!!!

Didn't say they didn't.

I question what that has to with the current situation.

When did basic hygiene become a political stance?

When it involves government violating our liberty. A concept that the fascist left couldn't possibly comprehend since liberty is an anathema to leftist freaks.

Still another protest gather yesterday. The Democratic Party and MSM must be proud for calling for mass protest gathering across the USA - then bragging about how much they successfully are spreading covid-19.

We're comparing the mindset of people today vs. back then.

Back then, people did what it took to support the troops and win the war. Now? Too cowardly, entitled, and weak to even wear a mask. Because mild discomfort for twenty minutes in Target is just too much for them to bear. This is MURCA damnit, I demand everyone shape their behavior to fit MY WANTS! How DARE a private business ask me to wear a mask on THEIR property? The sheer entitlement of the mindset. The pandemic doesn't matter, other peoples' lives don't matter, the rights of private businesses don't matter. Just what ****ing Karen wants. And Karen doesn't want to wear a mask. It's not comfy.

Antimaskers might very well be the weakest people in the history of this country.

Do you refuse to wear a seatbelt in the name of liberty? Seatbelts are fascism, right?

It is entirely about the election in November. After the election the anti-American hypocritical leftists will completely forget about wearing masks and COVID-19. It will all magically disappear as soon as the election is over. The rioting and acts of terrorism by leftist filth is entirely about trying to make Trump look bad just before the election, it has no other purpose.

Wearing a mask reduces the spread of Coronavirus and that makes Trump look better.

But yet you still cannot list what exact Liberties you have lost. Meh ...

Complete BS nonsense, no wonder no one takes you seriously.

Now you already know the answer to that question, mountain men don't need seat belts it masks....

This isn't a war. At best it's mostly hype. At worst it's fraud.

I didn't bring up WW II. Someone else did. I have no idea why.

I don't think WW II has anything to do with the current situation or masks

It doesn't. It's a strawman fallacy being used by the rabid mask-shamers.

Your comment is misleading. What does being a child during WWII have anything to do with wearing facial protection during the worst pandemic in modern history?

During a pandemic treat your mask like you would good under ware.

comfortable but tight enough so it will fall down

Use a fresh Clean one when needed

Change it if damp

and NEVER go Commando

You do realize I was responding to another poster who somehow thought it did.

I agree with you. They're not remotely related.

Nothing. That was my point. I think Praxas posted the original reference to WW II. Take it up with him.
