Wearing a mask = not meeting OSHA O2 requirements for a working space.

So your are quibbling with OSHA standards, eh? Well, you are not to exit the theatre via the fire door, either... and, its illegal to yell fire in a theatre, ... unless, of course, there is a fire.

The purpose of OSHA is to keep you healthy and whole in the work place. Breathing fire retardant is not healthy. It is likely a violation of OSHA standards, unless, of course, there is a fire, then OSHA standards go on the back burner.

In case of a pandemic, some activities that do not comply with OSHA standards may keep you safer than following OSHA standards, such as wearing a mask.

Do you follow? Now, was that hard?

It probably is hard. Studies are coming out that people who are easily susceptible to conspiracy theories or hoaxer theories are lacking in intelligence.

No, that cannot be seen in this video. All you see is some random guy - who likely has zero medical experience - shoving a stick up his face and saying the beep means it is hazardous. The only thing hazardous is the ignorance and stupidity of videos like this.

Meanwhile, medical professionals literally wear masks every working day of their lives for hours on end and are 100% fine. Wearing cloth face masks and the equivalent is NOT hazardous.
I notice a lot of articles are talking about cloth face masks--specified for schools, too. Are they better than the disposable masks I have?

I think they are comparable, it is just important to remember to wash cloth masks before reusing. More of a decision about being able to reuse them rather than buying and throwing away disposable masks regularly. I think a cloth mask that is paper thin/low thread count wont be as effective, but I'm not sure exactly how thick they should be.

And it's worse than that. OSHA actually recommends that employees wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. So the OP is totally clueless.

OSHA Oxygen Concentration Standards | Work - Chron.com

Oxygen-Deficient Hazardous Atmosphere
OSHA regulations define a confined space as any area with the following characteristics: the area is large enough for an employee to perform work; access to the area is limited; and the area is not intended to be a continually occupied work space. Employees typically enter a confined space to test equipment, perform maintenance or because of an emergency. When the oxygen concentration in any confined space dips below 19.5 percent,

OP clearly shows hazardous environment.

I will remain mask free.
If you care about what OSHA says, you should wear a mask. From OSHA itself on its COVID-19 page:

"OSHA generally recommends that employers encourage workers to wear face coverings at work. Face coverings are intended to prevent wearers who have Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) without knowing it (i.e., those who are asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic) from spreading potentially infectious respiratory droplets to others. "

It baffles me that people go to great lengths to deny actual medical and scientific opinions, yet believe at face value some random person who made a YouTube video. Truly amazing.

It's amazing how medical and nursing staff survive 12 hour shifts wearing much more restrictive masks without collapsing from Co toxicity! What's their secret?

Let the hillbilly try wearing a little gizmo called a Pulse Oximeter while wearing his "dangerous" mask. He can slip the gadget on his finger and it shines a light through the skin to measure his pulse and his Oxygen level (It should be over 92) He can do it live so we can all see.

pp Just saw the preceding post! That!

Just to underline the point. Two masks!

It usually ends up being justifications for the OP to say "I'm not wearing a mask", so you can file it in the following category:

"I'm not wearing a mask", I see a lot of this stuff on FB. Nothing but epenis flexing. nothing more.

(When the oxygen concentration in any confined space dips below 19.5 percent, OSHA considers this an oxygen-deficient hazardous atmosphere that can threaten life or health. OSHA mandates that employers must implement procedures to warn employees of the oxygen-deficient hazard before)

You can wear a mask, I don’t care, I’m not wearing one.
As can been seen in the video, it quickly becomes a hazardous atmosphere.

Makes sense. OSHA requires or allows masks be worn in all kinds of situations, and when they require a mask, it creates an unsafe work environment, because of a lack of oxygen caused by the mask, required by OSHA.

That might be true, OR, it might be true that O2 gauge is being used entirely inappropriately, as soon as you inhale, you replace the tiny pocket of O2 deficient air behind that mask with the ambient air, and what you breath into your lungs is a tiny pocket of slightly O2 deficient air, then the vast majority inhaled is....normal air, filtered through the mask.

I think I'll go with option 2.

Tell it to osha, I don’t care, I’m not wearing a mask.

Famous last words. I had Covid 19, I wear a mask every damned place I go.
