I took my first covid-19 test today

I am an insurance agent. So I am not exactly essential. My oldest daughter is an ER nurse in DT Seattle. I will thank her for you.

Excuses? let me rephrase. I hope every person who doesn't wear a mask catches covid. Is that clearer than the first time? I'll write it again if it's not.

Haven't seen a grocery store since March all groceries delivered the only time we've actually ventured out is to go get food to go with a no touch no sign no contact wearing gloves and masks.

Obviously my risk just picked up a notch. I am 65 have high Bp. And now this. But my step daughter who is now 18 is super high risk as wrll. She too had numerous PE in both lungs two years ago. So have have been extra anal about it.

One of my partners works in health care, and I'm essential as well, in a different industry. I hope when things settle down your daughter, and everyone else working through this, gets 2 months paid holiday.

Sorry but I'm fed up with the stupidity from some folks. If they have no consideration for themselves is it too much to ask to wear a mask for the consideration of others in the middle of a pandemic?

I get your point but. When I got to the hospital Saturday. My wife was pushing my wheelchair. There was no way I could walk. We both had masks and gloves and face Shields. Now mind you this is at Tacoma General Hospital a rather large Hospital in the heart of covid-19 country. Everyone who is checking in with honoring social distancing they all had masks some head gloves some had face Shields but not this woman with her three children walking directly towards us a group of people. Granted we were spaced but still these are people checking into an emergency room some likely sick. Sorry but that in my mind is criminal.

My wife trying to make room for this woman was freaked out because she was scared for the kids that I might have it. Created a stir but not how you might think it was the people with masks who were trying to avoid the children and they took it upon themselves to do so the mother couldn't care less.

It f****** boggles my mind. Would it bother me if those children got sick hell yes. Mom not so much

I'd support a 2 month paid vacation for all essential workers starting today, but I don't think it would be very popular.

The problem with being essential. But someone else will have to figure it out, we'd be on vacation.

Ok I just got played by a nurse.

I've been struggling to walk very far without oxygen. A little while ago the nurse came in said you want to go for a walk. I said well sure I'm not sure how far I can go but yeah I'd love to go. She said well let me bring the oxygen tank just to be safe. So I still have an oxygen mask on and we walked about a hundred yards and my oxygen level dipped a little bit but not a ton. I got back to the room and you know I was obviously more tired than I normally would be walking that distance buy way better than this morning.. Then she mentioned to me oh by the way the oxygen wasn't plugged in. She chuckled ans said "Trick of the trade"

****ing brilliantly played. I won't be playing poker with her.
