The pandemic is still around. The bonhomie with Dr. Anthony Fauci is not.

"Dr. Fauci is a nice man, but he's made a lot of mistakes," Trump said this week, undermining the public health expert Americans say in polls they trust more than the President.

With coronavirus raging, Trump and Fauci are no longer speaking. The President has taken to openly criticizing him on television. Fauci is expressing puzzlement at some of Trump's claims.

When the coronavirus task force convened at the Department of Education this week, Fauci was told to beam in over the phone instead of attending in person.

Fauci got something wrong? Made a mistake?

Fauci got it exactly right when he said covid-19 was not something anyone should worry about and much less of a danger then the flu. He said this many times publicly.

Fauci is right, no Americans should worry about covid-19. It's not a big deal. People should only worry about the flu. Virtually ever Democrat on the forum agrees with Fauci on that. You can believe Dr. Fauci - stop worrying about covid-19.

When they were speaking on a regular basis, unemployment was the worst it had been since the Great Depression.

And Fauci's refusal to promote HCQ, based on politically slanted studies which have now been discredited, cost us an inordinate number of lives.
