I get it. So CDC guidance that cloth masks reduce risks to self...

The CDC explicitly stated that cloth masks do not protect YOU. Cloth masks are not PPE.

Cloth masks protect others from you. But you know this - and have admitted as much already in this thread.

And yes, cloth masks are not PPE (which is irrelevant, because nobody here is arguing cloth masks = PPE).

Cloth masks protect others from you.
Which is why they're not PPE.

Neither are the defective chinease masks I bought from Wallmart yesterday :)

Uh, no. The rated saftey glasses and Kevlar gloves I wear every day at work are not medical equipment yet *are* PPE.

and I guess a cops gun could also be characterized as such. different industries have different definitions. go figger.

Why would I want to take them back? They're the defective masks, I bought them on purpose.

Anyone who would deliberately use defective masks is a dangerous arsehole who doesn't give a crap about his community, and with 69,000 new cases and hot spots all over the nation a lousy patriot.

Wallmart had a large display of these masks. 2 different kinds of defective Chinese masks. You talk to me as if there were multiple options available. You SHOULD be contacting Wallmart and asking them to stop selling these masks.

...and with 69,000 new cases....

Lol oh noes, 69,000 new cases of a highly survivable virus :D :D

Spar me your crocodile tears :D
