I would take a sample from each cup, mix it together in a spray bottle and go to a BLM protest. The resulting infections would be blamed on BLM's lack of social distancing. Local governments would move to limit BLM events, which would lead to riots ----> more spray bottle diployments ----> more infection's ----> blamed on no social distancing -----> more limits ----> more riots ---> more spray bottle ----> ......

Correct. According to the CDC, cloth masks may stop some large droplets, but are not PPE against covid-19. You need an N95 or better mask.

Incorrect. Masks reduce odds of infection by 65%. Only an idiot would eschew such protection of self. It also helps prevent transmission to others if you got it. Not entirely but coupled with social distancing and frequent hand washing - it brings the infection rate under control

Its not like there aren't many HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MASK WEARERS who have done their civic duty by following the pandemic control procedures of their governments.
Nah, masks don't work and that attitude can't possibly be contributing immensely to the infection rate going wild in the US.

Home of the free and a lot of profoundly stupid masquerading as brave.

Hope they get sued for their violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act and spend at least as much time and money as the anti-gay businesses that exercised their right to refuse service....

hahahaah! You got one of those bogus "medical exemption cards"? For the minuscule numbers of those that for medical reasons can not wear a mask, I think you'll find that in a pandemic and public health emergency, tough **** is going to be the call.

They don't protect others from me. If you and I both wear cloth masks, and I have covid, and we spend some time in close proximity...you will still get covid from me.

Considering Freddy refused to wear a condom with his partners after he contracted HIV, he is not a good spokesman for this campaign. But hey, I like the sign anyway.

Same could be said of Trump. A germaphobe who has sex with an adult film actress without a condom I believe is not all concerned with a face mask.

If you're social distancing, you don't need a mask, droplets don't travel that far.

The harm in doing both at the same time is, as you said, you think you're safer. You're not.

Additionally, covid-19 is airborne. We can be 6ft apart and you still get covid from me because neither of our masks are blocking small droplets.

Everyone's treating homemade cloth masks like they're PPE. Cloth face masks are not PPE. Cloth face masks do not filter covid or small aerosols, meaning you can still contract covid from someone's breath, even if you're both wearing cloth masks.
