Is The Virus Weakening?

I'm not certain about your last, there. I think the confidence level is very high that this virus did originate in Wuhan from natural sources. What may have been behind the spread of it will likely never be known. It could be a simply natural consequence of our interactive world, but I wouldn't entirely dismiss the Chinese propensity for exploiting such situations. The Chinese threat to cut off the supply of essential medications to the west is enough to establish ill intent.

The origins of this are not well understood. My less than crystal clear understanding is that the virus was thriving in bats many, may miles from the "Wet Market".

Reports have been that the DNA of the virus, withheld by the Chinese, did not appear to have been altered mechanically. This does not rule out breeding as is done to create our thoroughbred horses.

We know this is done for horses, corn, wheat and all manner of stuff commonly used in our world.

We know the Chinese were at least monumentally negligent. There is a fine line between this level of negligence and outright maliciousness. Drunk driving vs reckless driving. People still die.

Whatever the origin, the result is that everyone, including us, now understands what the spread of this virus or any other bug will be just letting things roll out in the normal processes.

The NEXT time it might be another bug that takes 2 weeks to show symptoms but is contagious allowing wide spread infection but then kills in high percentages like the Black Death.

Whatever it is, wherever it came from and however it was developed, it's not really a flu and not really a Black Death.

It kills some. Some seem to be just immune. It has affected the entire world and, if the motives to make this happen are not benign, it's going to be done again. And again.

Many people do not take the annual flu shot. Somehow we're still alive.

Some data months ago showed that those who did take the annual shot fared worse once infected with Covid, by about 36%. You never heard that on MSM though.

That seems like a pretty important point of info.

Do you have a link for it?

It's a little calming for me as I DO get that "vaccine" annually. I'm about 2.5 birthdays away from exiting the 60-70 age demo and entering the target group for Covid.

It has made me wonder if the word "vaccine" is appropriate for the thing they provide as a safeguard against the flu.

Seems to function less like a shield and more like a good luck charm.

As a short-term prophylactic 'vaccine' is probably accurate, but there's no guarantee that this year's flu jab will work next year.

First off, your 1% is wrong... wait till the deaths start coming from the spokes in the south.

second, what about the suffering so many have been through? You just ignore that.

and further, what about teh long term health effects of which there are tons?

In other words, you just doing a death count is ridiculous.

Suffering is part of life, in case you didn't already know that.

You offer an appeal to emotion, and I'm not interested.

This is a staged event and many, if not most, people know that.

Seeing relatives and friends dying a hideous death does tend to evoke an emotional response. You think Covid-19 is a "staged event"? Are you ****ing serious? Dear god, is there no end to conservative stupidity...

I'm sorry I do not have a link for that point. These last 6 months have been a whirlwind of information, MSM and alternative media.

Judy Mikovits did mention that in one or two of her interviews I've seen, but many of them have been censored into oblivion. I'm pretty sure I've seen reference to it in written articles too.

If it's true, that is something Big Pharma would rather be kept quiet.

If you are happy being emotionally involved, then I am happy too.

I was very emotionally involved for the first 6 weeks or so of lockdown, but soon came to my senses. Fauci and the MSM had me terrorized, but did get over it.

I prefer intellectual and rational involvement. :peace

My default position these days is to expect the worst from the Chinese government. So far, they haven't demonstrated they deserve a better expectation.

I agree that, given the global reaction to this virus, we're increasingly likely to see more of such diseases spread initiated by malign actors.

Makes you wonder who the malign actors are? Chinese or US or Israeli or who? Hell, it must be the Russians. US wouldn't do something like that, although Mike Pompeo says we lie, we cheat and we steal.

What's the independent person to think?

what can i do but laugh at such a moronic post?

Seems like if it is a short term prophylactic, they maybe ought to call it a short term prophylactic.

I could be wrong.

I know that we've been drinking from a fire hose on many topics.

I googled the topic to see if I could find something and the connection seems to exist, but seems to be more of a correlation than a causation.

It would make sense that if a person is concerned enough and has the insurance and life goals to get a flu shot, they'd also be more sensitized to all of the preventative steps recommended to avoid covid.

At this point, the methods recommended to avoid seem to be wear a mask, keep your distance, wash your hands and don't touch your face.

For me, at this stage of life, easy peasy. If I was a 20 year old frat rat looking to get laid, maybe not so easy.

Kinda makes me wonder what's going on in those elderly care homes. ;)
