"In March 2020, Cordero was diagnosed with COVID-19. His wife reported that he was in critical condition, on a ventilator, and being treated with dialysis and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
On April 18, 2020, his right leg was amputated as a result of complications from his illness. As of May 1, 2020, he had major lung damage and had not regained consciousness after being taken off sedation. By May 13, 2020, Cordero had regained consciousness.
On July 5, 2020, after 95 days suffering from COVID-19 symptoms, his wife announced his death via an Instagram post at 6:05pm PDT. Cordero died surrounded by family at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 41 years old."
College football is gonna ruin it for the NFL. No way college's should be allowed to play this year.

Yes, very sad indeed. Did he have any underlying medical conditions? I didn’t read that he did.
OMG. This disease is horrific, utterly horrific.
I read the report on one news source and he had all sorts of things-ampuation etc, but the report was rather enigmatic-you couldn't tell if the Covid caused all his problems or he had all these problems and on top of it covid. They spoke of numerous strokes, a pacemaker etc

He is hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he lives with his family while performing in "Rock of Ages."
"They had him on blood thinners for the clotting, unfortunately the blood thinners were causing other issues," she said Saturday. "The right leg will be amputated today."
tons and tons of older folks have pre-existing conditions. it's very interesting to see if their views of this thing have changed since Trump's first comment about it.

Thank God Tom Hanks survived!
Now that the NFL is just another political organization calling for the death and defunding of police, I certainly hope the NFL is ruined.

The Tom Hanks that said Donald Trump "will become president when spaceships come down with dinosaurs in rain capes"
True, he underestimated the lunacy of the American electorate.
