Alabama students throwing 'COVID parties'

That is one county to the south of me. Bunch of wealthy primadonna's in Clarkstown. We have been doing well in reducing the spread. Morons.
 
Interesting the OP needed to highlight "Alabama" when these parties are going on in every damn state of the union. The same age group attending these parties makeup the overwhelming majority of all the protests that still continue throughout the country.

While many of us have been doing our part having our rights denied in the name of stopping the spread, everyday we are shown on the news where these people are not interested in doing such. Others are fed up with protesters getting a pass while everyone else is scrutinized who dare want to attend church or go to the beach or a political rally. I am sick and tired of hearing that it was gatherings on Memorial Day weekend that started the new rise in cases when in fact it is when the protests all over the country broke out.

So it is time to stop the bull**** and face the fact that people have had it. They are fed up that their local government believe it is alright that they lose their livelihoods in the name of COVID while the same governments promote the protest unrest. The excuse of protecting grandma and grandpa isn't going to fly anymore. Those who have been responsible throughout this have done just that. Those protesting, attending crowded parties......not so much.

Some states have been rather draconian on their shutdowns are experiencing unemployment in the 20-30 percent in some cases within their states. Often Democratic mayors but they continue to permit the protests.

People in the beginning did what was asked of them. The purpose for the lockdown was to keep the medical workers in hospitals from being overwhelmed. It was a success. Time to learn to live with this virus. People who are vulnerable need to take every precaution while the rest of the country moves forward.

In the spirit of Jonathan Swift, why not just execute the miscreants? Perhaps to really convince others, death by suffocation?

My response was to these parties where these supposedly "adults" are packed in like a can of sardines are happening all over the place. No matter what they claim the party is for, the results are the same. These so called young adults are sharing these gatherings on social media. They are the same age group that make up the majority of those who attend massive protests. They are the same age group that pack the beaches and not practice social distancing. They are the age group that pack the bars and nightclubs . They are responsible for so many states seeing an increase in cases.
