Their specific assignment was to deal with attendees at this party. Not asking about the demonstration is no different than failing to ask if the people had attended the Trump rally in Tulsa.
 
No lawyer knows how to tell people to say "I am exercising my right under the Constitution to remain silent and demand an attorney be present during any interview?"
 
The reason for the contact tracing is they are now counting all contacts as "new cases" - one each person. So if you say you were at a football game and they can find out the name of people who attended that game, they would report "746 new covid-19 cases!" even though only 1 person had tested positive.

It is 100% about generating radically false statistics.

All this tracing is just to create fake statistics and create pointless bureaucratic jobs. The chances I would answer any tracing questions is exactly NONE.

But give me immunity from prosecution for what I say? Hell, I might tell my whole life story! :lol:

As soon as they get every New Yorker covid-19 GPS chipped, the system of exposing who everyone is ever with, when and where, every second will be complete.

Prove it. Please note: your vague impressions of a non-existent shift in media phraseology isn't proof of anything. When CNN refers to a new "case" of Coronavirus, they mean infection numbers as reported by the CDC. It has always been this way, anybody who thinks this is new phrasing is a lunatic.

Prove to me that officials tracking these statistics have stopped tracking infections.
