That is not my point. I saw a video of Trump supporters being interviewed at a Trump rally and frankly, I would not trust any of them to sit the right way round on a toilet. One guy was raving about Obama not being on the job in the White House on 911, he said that he was out playing golf How is an uninformed eejit like that supposed to know when Trump is trolling? It could be dangerous considering some of the things that Trump has said.

The same can be said about the Trump hating talking potato heads and the useful idiots who listen to them.

But just as you don't want to hold those talking potato head responsible for the useful idiots, you shouldn't hold Trump responsible for the Trump supporters.

First, he would have admired the "strong" dictators Hitler, Mussolini, Hirohito, and Stalin.

He'd have resisted sanctions on Germany for invading the Sudetenland and Austria.

He would have had contempt for our allies and poisoned our relations with them.

He would have halted Lend-Lease until Churchill cooked up fake smears of Trump's political rivals

After Pearl Harbor, he'd have hidden in his bunker. Then claimed it was fake news. Then claim the Japanese were just going to "disappear." Then complain about all the rationing and how it was an infringement on his freedom.

Obama's accomplishments include rescuing the economy from the Bush recession resulting in 7 years of constant economic growth, healthcare reform, Wall Street reform, immigration reform, got Bin Laden, rescued the auto industry, repealed don't ask don't tell, federal recognition of same-sex marriage, normalized relations with Cuba, rescued medicare, cut veteran homelessness in half, reduced the deficit, removed chemical weapons from Syria, expanded health insurance coverage for children, not to mention improving America's international image, all without a single scandal.

What has Trump done besides fail?

Actually, I was being sarcastic when I wrote that Trump was being sarcastic. I was hearkening back to his ridiculous musings about using disinfectants internally. He tried to claim later that he was just being sarcastic, which was an obvious lie.

And oh by the way, he set up a pandemic response team in the National Security Counsel so we could respond quickly and competently to a pandemic. But then Trump happened.

All that "reform"...and people still didn't have jobs and the ones who did weren't getting raises.

But no...the mess in Iran I was referring to was Obama giving Iran the money they needed to pay terrorists to kill American soldiers.

How do you connect lifting sanctions on Iran in exchange for eliminating their nuclear program to "giving them money to pay terrorists to kill American soldiers?" Wasn't that Russia anyway?

Saying, while in the middle of the ever-worsening pandemic, that the virus will magically disappear, is like carrying a sign that states White Lives Matter when you are marching in a Black Lives Matter protest.

Probably me, but your link didn't work for me so I'll respond to the Trump quote. Honestly, I don't see why it's a bad thing for a president to offer a message of hope to the nation, and IMO, that's what he did here. Why do you object to this?

“I think we’re gonna be very good with the coronavirus. I think that at some point that’s going to, sort of, just disappear — I hope,” Mr Trump told Fox Business on Wednesday.
