Trump again claims coronavirus is ‘going to just disappear’ as US sees record number of new cases

I honestly don't think some of you at the beginning of this thread understand what would happen to the economy if Democrats were in charge right now

This constant worst-case scenario fear mongering and Armageddon-speak would cause us the plummet into a dark economic hole that would lead into the most horrible recession we've ever experienced, and if you think we have an issue with people getting ill now, you need to imagine what everyone's health would look like in a country with 30% unemployment

It comes with seeing the world in color, not black-and-white

Don't take everything literally - step back for a moment, and figure out why Trump is doing this ;)

When Biden said of Barack Obama, "Watch, we're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy." He was actually pointing out that history shows that all presidents must face serious challenges during their presidencies, and he was showing his admiration of Obama for having the courage to step up and face those challenges.

You're right. Gaslighting is not hard at all.

If the Dems were in charge, besides the sickness & death that would be avoided, we would be opening under much surer economic footing. All in my humble opinion, of course.

Yes it is stupid because it is totally counterproductive to solving the problem. It makes people think the problem is not as bad as it is and therefore they don’t do what they need to do.

As Ronald Reagan said:

“The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things.”

Unfortunately, Trump is leading people to do the worst things possible and is destroying the country in the process. And we actually have people on here like you LAUGHING about it. THAT’S stupid.

According to grammarly.com stupider is the comparative form of stupid. I prefer "more stupid" but is seems someone who believes stupider is not a word is more stupid than Trump.

The governors know how serious it is in their particular state...or, at least, they should. If they rely on future speculation to deal with their own present day problems, THEY are the ones making the mistakes. Furthermore, nothing Trump says takes away their responsibility to their citizens.
 
Based upon the ability of President of the United States of America Donald Trump to lead the nation during this pandemic, one can only wonder at how well the 'Wartime President' would have dealt with rallying the nation to surmount the challenge of WW II.
