Europe travel ban to include United States.

With the soaring rates in the US, realistically I see the EU not opening to the US for many months to come. Perhaps the Autumn, experts are predicting Oct, if there is not a second spike in the Autumn. Then we are back to square one, but better prepared.

It's more efficient to restrict travel from a country than its respective provinces/states. Most people traveling abroad from the US would likely have to pass through major hubs where they could contract the disease. Also, the infection rates tend to be pretty fluid, so managing travel that way would be incredibly difficult.

So is India. So is Brazil. People from those countries will not be welcome either. Any country that has proven unable to put together a national strategy, has failed to respond to this pandemic.
The U.S.A. is a country that falls into that category.

Countries in Europe will be excluded as well, Sweden for instance.

Canada will be the only North American country that will resume travel to/from Europe. That is only because the Canada/US border is closed. I suspect Canada will continue its ban to U.S. travelers for as long as the E.U. does. Nobody wants the situation that exists in the U.S. to exist in their country. They already were in that situation once and are just nicely out of it.

Countries that were successful in implementing mitigation strategies, will continue to take the necessary precautions. For the foreseeable future that will include a ban on travel to/from the USA

The U.S. has 4% of the world’s population and 25% of the world’s C19 cases.
Any country with a math IQ higher that 0 should ban Americans.
In addition, our stupid ****ing leader has done a poor job in managing the C19 crisis, which puts Americans at greater risk.

dude I get it, america bad-but we have lower mortality rate and majoirty are recovered so the cases number really doesnt matter

Rest of the world doesn’t care about States etc. US has one leader, one government and one military etc. The fact that Vermont is very different to Alabama is immaterial to us.
