Is anyone here getting tired of hearing about the coronavirus?

I don't know if I'm the only one on here that's tired of watching political news channels like MSNBC and only hearing about the coronavirus day-in and day-out, but it's really getting tired to me. I miss hearing information about the democratic presidential candidates and what they'll be doing next to try and win the nomination for the Presidency -- we only have Joe Biden now as an active candidate, but you know what I mean.

News about protests or whatever due to random deaths is getting tired as well, but even when they're being aired I tire of watching news anchors with masks on their faces while reporting on the sites of the protests.

Missing information about the President doing something to possibly get himself in trouble with Congress and their oversight over his administration and personal behavior while holding the Presidency is something I'm experiencing too. Does anyone feel that way?

I agree.

Both are very important to report on but really there is nothing to watch there after 5 minutes or so. It's much easier to get all the news by scanning their websites and turning off live TV.

Can you believe these looters and arsonist destroying the cities run by democrats? I mean democrats are their friends, and all the time wearing no mask to keep us safe from coronavirus.

We kind of have to ask ourselves, is there a flaw in humanity. If we had a channel that presented news mainly in a positive light and another that mainly presented news in a negative light, what would the majority of consumers watch?

Random deaths?

Which is what I do, scan headlines from several sources both domestic and international. I rarely if ever turn the TV on for news. I suggest the OP do the same.

You think Covid-19 is getting tiresome? Try hearing nothing but 'Brexit' every day for months on end!

With all these protests and riots, people may already be bored with the Chinese Virus.

yeah, i am working my ass off on something related to the virus, so it's pretty tiring. then i get home, and the hillbillies are all walking around now like nothing is going on. "come on, Jim Bob, take me to Crappleblahs! kids, stop playing saliva tag and get in the van! sure, the eighty neighbor kids can come, too!" meanwhile, i'm in the store with a mask thinking about how ****ed i'm going to be and about the potentially permanent lung damage that all of these unimaginative idiots might send me. to say that i'm tired of the virus would be an understatement.

Do you really believe this narrative is indicative of the protests?

The photo in the article was taken in Denver.

There was a lot of destruction in downtown Grand Rapids Saturday night and the photo of the person breaking the windows in the property of a friend we know was broken by a white man.

So although it might not always be narrative it also may be happing more than one might think.

There is a big difference peaceful protesting ( the vast majority) and causing violence.( the few troublemakers using the demonstrations as an excuse to vandalize)

In Flint , Michigan the police joined and the demonstrators.

My point was NOT color of skin my point was we should all be upset when violence against people or property happens and it does not matter if the city Or person is Democratic or Republican Or black or white we should all be outraged by violence.

I cut the cord years ago, and the few times I've watched any of the major news media networks, I'm reminded of how much I don't miss it. The 24 hour news cycle and the focus on the ad sales revenue has made news less about reporting content and more about ensuring high ratings in their target audience. There are many alternatives to accessing relevant information on just about any topic while being spared the sensationalistic (and absurdly repetitive) aspect of most news media channels.

There were protests/demonstrations all weekend in my community, all peaceful. Even though the New Black Panther Nation (sic?) folks were there in their red berets, there was no trouble at all. There was community support, including the doctor who is leading the county health COVID crisis team. Most people were wearing masks.

So long as there are new cases and new deaths in my community, no, I'm not finding the reporting on COVID boring.

The entire Plandemic and its TV coverage was biological warfare combined with psychological warfare, and pretty much a huge success. Those who have profited and will profit are smiling bigly.

Yes the evening in Grand Rapids was terrible, all kinds of troublemakers came out, the point I’m making is it wasn’t only white males doing the damage. There were even mixed groups the next day trying to explain how the vandalism was somehow unintended but necessary. It’s ridiculous.

Except you said whites were destroying property while blacks were peaceful. ????

If you stop thinking about it or are manly it will go away.

The one good thing about these Democrat riots is that it sucked all the oxygen out of the Covid19 narrative. Thinking back over the last 4 years, I don't recall many days when there wasn't a huge story that dominated the news for months 24/7. I feel for the businesses who survived the Corona lockdown only to have their businesses destroyed. Thing is, it will make no sense to rebuild; as these same Democrat riots will resume when Biden loses bigly. We are witnessing Cloward Pivin Alinsky progressive assault on America. Overwhelm, use the crisis for fundamental change.

MSNBC has become the black network no matter what they cover.

I've heard very little about the virus since the killing of George Floyd. Personally, I would like to hear more. Not 24/7, but just more updates. And yes, more about the administration. There are only so many hours in the day. Once the protests quiet down, we'll hear more about everything.

What, exactly, should be done to stop those rioting, looting and burning? Expressing "outrage" is obviously not working, in fact, it seems to be providing those criminals doing the rioting, looting and burning with loads of 'human shields' between themselves and the police. Some have tried to suggest that (dusk to dawn?) "curfews" (bans on anyone being out in public places) is the answer, but those "curfews" are largely being ignored by both the "protestors" and the LEOs who elect not to enforce them.

Biden as of Friday holding a 17 point lead with independents. I just don't see a Bigly Biden Loss. What I do see is an increase of young voters this time around due to all the protesting. In normal times, young people hardly vote at all. This November everyone may be surprised. And they won't be voting for Trump.
