The Mask Works

We did a bike ride from Coronado island to San Diego, second time doing it, we only got lost once this time (keep ocean to your left), then did a ride from Carlsbad to Encinitas along the coast. Such a beautiful area, and so much more fun from a bike.

Always wanted to drive the CA coast, along with seeing some other States- Grand Canyon areas, Yellowstone, San Antonio for, may have the name wrong, the river boardwalk at Christmas
Tennessee just to see that blue grass my father told me about - he was in WW2, merchant navy, had shoe time on the seaboard, went there. Loved the beauty

LA for the food, and while in Tennessee, Nashville for their music-food as well

So...the voting problem has been solved...right? no need for that mail in ballot harvesting crusade anymore. Masks work!

I was in Nashville last year, had my fill of hot chicken, so damned good. But downtown just was soul-less with all the new skyscrapers and such. Flew from there to LA non stop for a wedding, it was a bit of a cultural shock.

Me i like beef/chicken/fish/shellfish and lobster season opened recently- best lobster in the spring, before they molt, full of flesh as after they molt more energy goes to the new shell

And you know what goes great with lobster?

I don't eat beef or pork. We had great lobster, shrimp, and crab last night, mmm.

I love Nashville, chicken is disgusting.

You want to see a skyline, NYC's has changed rather dramatically and it's awesome!

We can reopen without too much increase in disease IF everyone wears the mask. It's that simple.

What is wrong with people?

Why would someone not wear it? How ignorant can they be?

I wear this ****ing thing 8 or more ****ing hours every ****ing day. It is ****ing uncomfortable and it makes life ****ing miserable after awhile.

THAT'S WHY.

poor baby... you have it so hard
is the only way i can think to respond to a post like this :(

You wear a ****ing mask all ****ing day every ****ing day for ****ing months on end. Once you've actually done that, THEN come back here and tell me how ****ing eager you are to wear the ****ing thing at times when it is not mandatory.

like I said, such struggles must be very difficult

on a serious note, why don't you thank God you don't have cancer or kidney disease or seizures or crippling arthritis, PTSD or all of them at once and that you are lucky enough to work and wear a mask.
I'd change with you in a shot and can guarantee I'd never complain, in fact, I'd be the happiest man on earth.

people are so spoiled is my take away from this brief exchange

but have a nice day

all the best

This means that you don't wear a ****ing mask all ****ing day, every ****ing day, right?

Just as I suspected...

On the other hand, I wear one when I leave the house, and go into a store. I don't wear it in the car, but I am alone in the car usually.

A lot of people are. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't follow best practices to try to make sure that not only you don't get sick, but your loved ones too. I mean, I would love to get rid of the face masks, and not worry about either getting the virus, or spreading the virus to my elderly mother. The levels of infection in this area are dropping, but that's because everyone wears a face mask, and practices social distancing.

I know that removing a face mask in your car when you come in from shopping is the new ripping bra off when you get home, but face masks TO have a function. To help and protect others.

N95? Or, surgical? Surgical ain't so bad. Wouldn't want to wear it all day, every day, though.
