The hypocrisy is your's.

The hypocrisy is your's.
Billions of religious people on the planet and only a speck of them have gotten sick... seems your statement is kinda stupid, actually.
how do you account for God screwing the 'speck'?
Baltimore pastor rips up cease-and-desist letter mid-sermon: 'We're gonna do it God's way!'
A Baltimore pastor tore up a cease-and-desist letter mid-sermon Wednesday night after local officials threatened a $5,000 fine earlier in the week for holding in-person services.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced last Friday that houses of worship could reopen at 50 percent capacity, citing declining hospitalizations related to the coronavirus pandemic. He left the timing up to local jurisdictions. The state has had more than 41,000 confirmed coronavirus cases and at least 2,081 deaths.
Stacey Shiflett, pastor of the 400-member Calvary Baptist Church in Dundalk, held a Wednesday night service. With more than 100 congregants in the 600-capacity sanctuary, Calvary was in compliance with Hogan's order but in defiance of the Baltimore County Department of Health and Human Services' order.

Again, the collective ignorance of conservatives defies critical thinking. There should have been a lesson learned from the church that just reopened live services and several members contracted the virus and they shut it down again just 3 days later.

Since this is all just guess work, not really. No one knows whether it was a deity preventing infections or other variables. If it helps you sleep better at night knowing it was a deity, go for it.
It is simply life... some people die. Is this really news?
You condemn Christians gathering together in churches, while silent about vastly more people gathering in WalMart, Lowes, Home Depot, grocery stores, liquor stores, pot shops and other locations - even hundreds together. That is your hypocrisy - and bigotry against Christians. Anything bought in a WalMart, Lowes, Home Depot, Office Max, grocery stores, pot shops and liquor stores all can be business done online and by delivery. Or prove me wrong. Post to your condemning those other locations where people gather together for in-person consumerism - the the true secular religion of the USA. Materialism and consumerism is the 24/7 sermon of the MSM and the "religion" of most Americans. They do not worship any super natural god. They worship the mega billionaire gods of Chinese slave labor products and materialism. NO ONE condemns those billionaire man-gods having their churches of materialism hold daily - all day - mass gatherings of people, do they? Nor do you.Since YOUR religion is secular materialism, shutting down your churches of consumerism is unthinkable to you. Being able to physically shop for what you could buy online and have delivered is essential worship to you, isn't it?how am i not following my values?
Your point is that Christians should hold services in WalMart, liquor and pot shops because there people can gather by the dozens and hundreds, totally immune from covid-19. You complaint is where Christians meet, not that the gather together, correct?

In this case it's Christians because the topic is about a pastor in Baltimore, but should apply to religious gatherings of any faith. I don't frequent liquor, pot shops, or Walmart so I have no anecdotal information. I do know that Walmart has a face covering/social distancing policy in its stores, but don't know how well it is enforced across its locations.
No, read this forum. Even as a general topic about churches, they ALL specify Christians and only Christians.
The outlawing of churches included if they wear masks and do social distancing. That is not even relevant. It is the specific outlawing of church gatherings, while allowing vastly greater gatherings is selective stores, while outlawing other stores. Simply, the government is deciding who they want to destroy and who they will favor - for EXACTLY the same covid-19 risks.
This has never been about covid-19. It has always been about money and power - who the government shifts the money and power from and to. Against churches to consumerism. Against merchant class businesses to the mega billionaire corporations.

Being able to physically shop for what you could buy online and have delivered is essential worship to you, isn't it? To most progressives, Sam Walton is a god, protecting WalMart customers who gather to worship in his church of Chinese sweat shop slave products consumerism, but the Christian God doesn't protect anyone at his churches, which are anti-materialism. To progressives, materialism and consumerism is their god and religion.
I already answered this in post 111
You hit the nail on the head. Money over God, money over the lives of humans.
For 2 months now, not one progressive Democrat even pretends they can explain their theory that if everyone is wearing a mask and social distancing you are safe in a WalMart store with 2oo in it and a thousand customers a day - but will be infected if you are in a mom-pop store selling the same type products or in a church.
Simply, progressives want anyone and anything the hate outlawed - which are middle class merchants and Christian churches - while furious declaring the exact opposite for who they want to promote - which are the businesses of the richest people on earth and on behalf of their secular religious belief in Chinese non-white sweatshops and consumerism.
Democrats love non-white slave labor products now more than when they could own slaves directly. Who they MOST hate are Christians and this is their backdoor way around the Bill Of Rights.
To be fair we all do it..
We could all drive 35 mph and save 25,000 traffic deaths a year, but we do not..
I find it ridiculous because it is totally unnecessary. No one is gonna die if they miss church... the church might die due to bankruptcy though.

Could it be that church’s don’t really preform a tangible value while all those stores and construction crews do???
No one is gonna die because they do church from you tube..
The reason for the push back is the churches are afraid they go broke.. a valid fear..
But just like sports, church is a luxury, not an essential.
