Franklin County Board of Health Declares Racism a Public Health Crisis - Franklin County Public Health

“The public health crisis of racism is certainly not a new one,” said Commissioner Kevin L. Boyce. “However, COVID-19 has highlighted the effects of the health divide between black and white Ohioans. The pandemic has exacerbated the health disparities we see as a community and I am glad that Franklin County Public Health is moving forward with a focus on racial equity to improve public health and serve our constituents.”

Beware of black politicians who think everything is about racism, whether they openly admit it all the time or not. If Biden picks a black woman as running mate I sure hope she is not someone who thinks white cops are racists and should be dead.

Black politician notices racial disparities in the health system because of Covid-19.

OP responds by posting an old video of blacks protesting police violence against blacks.

So what's the connection...that covid-19 is killing more blacks than the police?


When there are noticeable racial disparities in our government systems...how should blacks respond to correct it and find justice?

The healthcare system isn't causing people, of any race, to get infected.

Never said it was. By disparity, I meant the inequality in healthcare. IE: the lack of access, treatment, insurance coverage, funding, etc. ..and that's why more blacks per capita are dying than whites.

What led to the senseless murder of multiple cops by armed blacks was the misguided idea that 'America is filled with hateful racist white folk who will mistreat you if you are a black, and that is true especially of cops.' The truth is America has nowhere near the problem with white racism that far too many blacks wrongly assume. Those erronepous assumptions about racism are fanned into flames of hatred by politicians using the false narrative to energize blacks to come out and vote for them as supposedly a means to put down the evil white man.

This kind of nonsense needs to stop. Coronavirus is not racist and neither are US health professionals. The claim that massive numbers of health professionals or Americans in general are racist against blacks is nothing more than ignorant unjustified black racist hatred for whites.

I fail to see what that has to do with the inequality of the healthcare system...especially in states that didn't expand Medicaid and have large black populations. IE: the entire South.

What needs to stop is the racial and ethnic disparities in the healthcare system. True, the virus didn't cause it, but it sure helped to expose it....

You think if a state's lawmakers don't spend more money on programs helping blacks because of budget constraints then little black kids should be told, "The state hates you because you are black"? No wonder little black kids grow up thinking white men are of the devil and should be punished for their racism. Bad teachings like this are not helpful to any society.

Explain the racial disparities in our system and let's see why those problems exist, if they do, especially after old hope and change Obama with a democrat majority in the House and Senate did not fix the alleged problems when he had the chance.
