Detroit with a population of 700 thousand has 37% more COVID deaths than Texas with 28.9 million.

And 1000 people per day are dying in New York. No worries. Just the seasonal flu.

Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and El Paso are just as densely populated. Probably Corpus Christi too. That's not it. Health issues may indicate something, but I doubt Detroit health concerns are that much worse than urban areas in Texas. There's a reason alright. Can't say what it is, but educated minds will find out.

Don't forget Detroit is a port of entry for motor vehicles into this country. As anyone who has seen the traffic near the tunnel or bridge can tell you, there is a ****ton of people coming into the US(and specifically Detroit) right there. All the hardest hit places in the country tend to be ports of entry into the country.

Yep, we just sneak the bodies out and burn them - a trick we learned from the Chinese. The best way to deal with a Chinese coronavirus is to do what the Chinese do. ;)
 
Density would be my guess. Detroit 139 square miles. Texas 268,820 square miles. That was easy.

That sounds reasonable, but he's talking about deaths, not cases. It may be timing. If Texas isn't testing, we won't know until it does.

The GOP ttwtt78640 uses the Chinese distraction. Texas is run by Republicans such as Jade Helm conspiracy theorists Gov. Abbott, Sen. Cruz, and Rep. Gohmert. Little more needs to be said about GOPs after Wisconsin two days ago and GOP governors leaving Democratic cities in their states wide open for this virus.

As I said, the history is already settled. Overstating the # of tests; understating the # of cases and deaths; lying about the # of PPEs being sent out; inside trading on HCQ, Zn, and PPEs; a four-month series of lies and incompetent statements coming from trump; but heh, it’s all good when it’s a Blue city

Well, and one is a large city while the other is a very large state.
