FWIW, I also don't know or care about his politics. I'm just having fun with people who decided to make this a partisan ****-throwing contest, and when people labeled them Democrats or leftists or liberals with no evidence, I'm having fun pointing out reasons he looks like a MAGA to me. Otherwise I wouldn't have made it partisan, but if that's where people want to take this throwaway thread, I'm good with that. But there are idiots and bullies and cowardly assholes across party lines.

I'm better with that if people who think like you decide to take it out on people who CAN fight back. Like teenage guys, maybe that girl's brother. This guy is just a coward. "Look at me!! I beat up some girls who talked back to me!! I'm a real MAN!!" Pathetic...

And there's about a 100% chance he's a loser in real life. What kind of doc decides to be a 'pain' doctor? I shouldn't stereotype, but I can't believe it's a better gig than anesthesia, handing out opiates and dealing with a bunch of loser addicts just wanting a fix, and he took it out on some girls who he can attack without worrying about getting the beat down he deserved. So - loser and coward.

The man seems to have a history of medical professionalism but he obviously has uncontrollable anger issues as well. People have problems no matter how highly esteemed by others in most of what they say, think and do. The Bible says 'Anger resteth in the bosom of fools." This esteemed doctor needs to go to God and pray for forgiveness and deliverance from his bondage to sin.

Or he could apologize to the people he hurt. You know, something actually meaningful.
 
He's an anesthesiologist. The fumes got to him.

I've spoken with doctors and nurses who wanted to strangle individual patients, and from the descriptions of those particular patients' behavior, likely most of us would want to strangle them. I don't understand how pediatricians remain so calm, especially as little Timmy starts ejecting projectile vomit and fireballs from his eyes because he was offended by a bandaid with flowers on it.

Some teens can be exquisitely rude, and this good doctor will get a slap on the wrist for allowing whatever stress he's suffering get the best of him for a few obnoxious words. He might have accomplished some good. This girl will think twice before provoking anyone she doesn't know, again. A life lesson that may save her life in the future.

There are two sides to every story. As much as I oppose adult physical response to anyone when physical self defense is not imminently required, let alone kids when only words have been cast on the waters, this bit of shock may produce some positive behavioral changes for all the young girls who witnessed this assault. And maybe this doctor will get some sorely needed help. At least he didn't interrupt a tongue sandwich. "Mom, I don't know how I caught mono! I never kiss boys, just older guys who are safe." :doh
