    Any Cruisers out there?

Right now most cruises are cancelled until mid May. I don't see any chance they start cruising that soon. I think it is possible that we don't see any cruises the rest of this year. If we do I think it will be very limited. There is talk of no destination cruises since it's gonna be difficult to find any ports open for ships at least early on. The cruise industry seems to be one of the greediest and very shady at times. They probably will figure out a way but I don't know when I would trust doing a cruise.

What do you all think about the future of cruising? Will Carnival make it out alive after this disaster? What kind of regulations will be put in place going forward? I can see immunity passports being a thing.

I think the cruise industry is a thing of the past...I'll never get on one...

Did you cruise a lot prior to this? Is your decision all Corona related or are there other reasons?

I get thinking that but this industry has been through a lot of bad times. Not this bad though obviously. I think die hard cruisers are like die hard Trump supporters. I don't think this will change their mind. I do think older folks are gonna think twice for a while about getting on board.

I'd love to go on a Russian ice breaker up to the north pole.

The cruise thing seems kinda dismal, really. It's like paying top dollar to be a sardine.
Watching the live action version of Jerry Pournelle's "Crazy Eddie" concept.

The industry will recover as soon as there is a finger prick test for the virus. If getting gut-wrenching diarrhea didn't kill the industry, this won't.
