Not only that, but he could have shut down NYC weeks ago, but was in a power play with the NYC mayor.
Cuomo is totally responsible for the high numbers in NYC.

What’s ironic about it?

Yesterday, Trump not only ran away from questions regarding the Inspector General’s report, he attack the reporter (from Fox Noise no less), and then attacked the person asking the follow up question.

Trump didn’t want to talk about ventilator shortages. In the middle of a pandemic, he devoted his press conference on the pandemic to asking out loud who appointed an Inspctor General who raised inconvenient facts.

He can’t address the question, and he is neither honest enough or man enough to say things aren’t where they should be. So he attacks and tried to belittle.

And lowers himself in the bargain. It’s downright pathetic to watch this man flail away at all his hobby horses and reliable campaign rally memes, while people are literally dying all around.

“Frankly no, I take no responsibility at all” is just about the only true thing Trump ever said.

Precisely the opposite. Weeks ago Cuomo was screaming about FEMA only sending 400 ventilators insisting that he needed 30,000 ventilators pondering how he would decide which 29, 600 patients would be left to die without a ventilator. He currently has all the ventilators he needs and he hasn't received anywhere close to 30000 ventilators. ALL the models have been wrong.
