Boris Johnson in intensive care bed.

Getting really concerned for him now. Thanks for the update.

Good luck to him, hope he feels better.

I think they have him on one of those respirators, the kind they give to old smokers.

Did anyone else believe he was admitted to hospital yesterday just for more CV19 tests?

The man has had a fever the past couple of weeks. I hope he pulls through alright.

I don't hold out sympathy for those whose plight is a direct result of their belligerant ignorance.

I didn't see reports saying that. I read his symptoms were getting worse and his doctor admitted him.

Karma might take care of itself, but I certainly don't want to contribute to it. I hope he gets better.

It was all over the news yesterday. Couple examples:

"On the advice of his doctor, the Prime Minister has tonight been admitted to hospital for tests," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement, adding that the tests were part of a "precautionary step" due to Johnson's lingering symptoms.

I hope that he's ok.

I hope he recovers and realizes, in the struggle, that clown hair is stupid.

Listening on the news right now... his vice whatever over there is being sworn in as PM perhaps... he went through that stuff fast.

Err... nope.

They just said that he is not looking good and it is getting worse fast within the last three hours...

I really hope he doesn't die. The sharp decline stuff really scares the hell out of me. One minute people are okay, and then they go through a sharp downward spiral.

Err... nope.

Errr... they were saying something about it... yes. And I was not sure hence the perhaps and he went through it fast. And when they say that he is "in ICU and conscious" that is not really a good sign.

I wonder if the Queen speaking yesterday was because of this. Calm the country before a potentially painful transition.

Well, he tested positive ten days ago... he was apparently not recovering well and then it started getting serious yesterday... so it is not really minutes (exaggeration) later kind of thing. But I hear you... what I want to know more about is the few day old baby that died the other day.

If they gave him fish tank cleaner or whatever that malaria stuff is, his blood pressure may have gotten wonky.

Yes, admitted for tests. That's not the same as saying he was admitted to the hospital to get tested for covid-19. I'm sure he got a litany of tests.

Best to Boris and get over this thing. Beat it, Boris.

I know it's not actual minutes, it's an exaggerated use of the word. It's just that people feel fine, and then have that sharp decline. There's healthy people that I've read have died overnight, but those have been medical personnel, so I'm guessing viral load plays a factor into that.
