Trump tweets about 'light at end of tunnel' while experts warn of worst week yet

Coronavirus US live: Trump tweets about 'light at end of tunnel' while experts warn of worst week yet | US news | The Guardian

Donald Trump was expressing optimism over Twitter this morning, telling his followers that there is a “light at the end of the tunnel” as the country stares down the worst week yet in the coronavirus crisis.

The country is approaching 10,000 deaths in the pandemic, and more than 337,000 cases have already been confirmed.

Senior health experts in the administration warned the numbers would continue to climb in the next several days, with Dr Anthony Fauci saying yesterday that this is probably going to be “a very bad week”.

Trump was painting a 'happy face' on a public health disaster.

These daily pressers are really only campaign rallies for Trump. He has admitted that they get high TV ratings.

I'm glad there is nothing serious going on in the country right now and the President has nothing better to do than cry about fake news and mock his rival.
Trump November 2013: "Leadership: Whatever happens, you're responsible. If it doesn't happen, you're responsible."

Trump as President of the United States March 2020:
“I don't take responsibility at all”

Remember that old cartoon where the light at the end of the tunnel was the headbeam of a locomotive swiftly bearing down on the person who thinks he is looking at hope?

The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Even the new folk hero Fucci said the two are compatible. This week's deaths are the result of infections from the last 2-3 weeks per Fucci. The optimism comes from the fact that we may be seeing the bending of the curve in the NE hotspots.

Seeing as how the IMHE...the go to numbers and predictions organization for the government...has revised their numbers and predictions downwards, perhaps things are looking better for the country, as a whole.

A couple days ago, the IMHE predicted the peak for Colorado as April 17. Today, they say we are two days PAST the peak.

So yeah...it looks like some light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes. The light at the end of the tunnel might not be what you thought it was.

If Trump sees the 'light at the end of the tunnel' he must have his mouth wide open as he sticks his head up his ass.
