As I'm listening to him, I think he's trying to subvert the clinical trials by having the populace take it as an unofficial field trial. For why, I'm not sure. I suspect so he can walk away from this as the hero that saved the country, rather than the President that presided over the largest loss of human life in the past American century save for WW-II.

Really? The nation stands in utter confusion because the people are unsure what Trump thinks about how to count coronavirus victims? Is this the best attack on Trump the democrats can come up with in an effort to turn the virus tragedy into a 2020 win for them in November?

Yeah, if you listen to it, it appears that he claims he had a hand in waivers that allow people to take this off label during the crisis. He then had it ordered and shipped around. He feels pushing now, is a politically good play.
