The pastor's motivation, IMO is money, not the well-being of his "flock".

One scary fact: In Florida, DeSantis wrote a variance in his order that still permits these type of religious services.

Basically Every church’s main priority is money..

I would bet dollars to donuts your average church does not spend 10% of its annual take in charity..

You don’t get a building that nice giving the majority away to the needy?!?!

Most churches and temples now are holding their services via video chat. Regarding this LA pastor and with Falwell and Liberty University, they are ignoring these options - their motivation, I believe is the leverage the fear and hatred flock and the desire of their flock to troll their political enemies. Tragically, the result of their shenanigans will likely be deadly.
 
Did you ever wonder if Donald Trump posted here (and we didn't know it was Donald) if he would sound exactly like some posters here?

It's like he's a father figure now and posters have copied his communication style.

I attended the worship service of my choice today. Even celebrated with holy communion. Didn't endanger anyone with the virus, not even myself. All from the safety of my living room. Took complete advantage of the 1st amendment, to boot.

So, to those who claim they have the overriding right to spread the virus, to the detriment of all other Americans, I say you are not a true American. You are a selfish, ignorant, self absorbed, piece of ****.
 
For decades and decades I have used every kind of sales technique on the planet to try to get the in-laws to take care of their bodies.

They're just hard heads that won't listen to reason or science. They sit in front of the TV and watch Fox News day after day after day.

One now has lung cancer and the other can barely walk due to the side effects from alcoholism.

You just can't get through to some people. Watching their suffering will be horrible for my wife and of course terrible for them.

But at least they're not passing a virus on to other people. And they have been hiding out in their house ever since this virus came a long. Ironic, huh?
