This might sound like a conspiracy theory, but I don't mean it that way. I'm just wonderin'.

Lots of genetic engineering has been going on. The official story is that this coronavirus is entirely natural. But after two seconds of searching I found this article from 2008:

Manipulation of the coronavirus genome using targeted RNA recombination with interspecies chimeric coronaviruses. - PubMed - NCBI

All I can see is the abstract. But I will look for others. But it's a fact that they have been messing with these viruses. How do we know the official story isn't just BS to keep us masses calm?

The british intelligence agency just came out and said this can't be discounted any longer. Maybe, maybe not. Time will tell.
 
Also -- maybe it wasn't a bioweapon, maybe they were just experimenting with coronaviruses. The debunkers all say it could not be a bioweapon.

And -- scientists to NOT want the public to suspect genetic engineering, because that could end their research. So they would deny the possibility.
 
There are many types of coronaviruses in many species.... "Messing with these viruses" is the fundamental research that allows the development of vaccines and treatments for the diseases caused by these viruses.

You do have to wonder, why now? During the recorded history of mankind, there was never any interaction between man and bat?
Since the virus started in China we will never know for sure.

The one problem with this theory is there is now no shortage of specimens of the virus and there are thousands of labs all over the world who can easily examine the genetics of the virus.

Did you ask if man had never had contact with cows, pigs and chickens?

We don't know. And I do not trust the official story. They don't want us to panic or get angry. Google suppresses information the medical industry doesn't want us to know.

And they have already figured out how to make this virus. So it's not like it could not have been artificially created.

Not necessarily as a bioweapon.

There is a lab that works on this stuff in Wuhan. Doesn't it seem possibly for a virus to escape from a lab? I mean, you can't see the darn things, so how can you possibly make sure that none escape?

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is operating in a recently built modern facility and is primarily involved in deadly virus research. Their own scientists have expressed concern that some of the deadly viruses they do experiments on could possibly be accidentally released into the population with deadly consequences. Don't expect scientists who may have accidentally caused this virus outbreak to accept blame for how it broke out into the world population, especially not Chinese scientists working at a new Chinese lab doing research on corona viruses linked to SARS. And don't expect fellow researchers from the University of Texas to admit the possibility that the virus escaped from the new Wuhan research facility by accident either.

They have made it, I found the article in google, from a legitimate lab. Lost the link though. They made it in order to study it, try to make a vaccine, or whatever.

Why would a secret program on biological weapons have a wikipedia page and regularly publish research?

And yet, almost every link in google says scientists have determined it evolved naturally. Their arguments do not sound convincing, but you have to be a geneticist to be sure.

They have circled the wagons on this, so the public won't get upset.

Is this "legitimate lab" unable to avail themselves of the millions of samples sitting in testing labs all over the world?

Its not the animals so much as the rainforests they come from. Most of our viral monsters were doing there thing where we weren't. And then we went there for wood or burning ever more for cows and crops and we stumble into them.

More than once responders have arrived in a dead village and were just grateful nobody there owned a truck.

The wet markets amplify this as multiple species are crammed into a small area. Viruses jump around until they mutate to a form we can catch. Which means we often won't have any existing immunity.

I read somewhere that they now think it went from bats to a pangolin and then to humans. These animals would never have interacted enough to pass a virus in their natural habitats.

I was a Chinese guy with gum disease in Wuhan, gnawing on a bat on a stick, who started COVID-19. The virus jumped from the bat to the man.

Why is that so hard to believe? It happens all the time.
