Coronavirus: NJ Gov. Orders State Police To Commandeer Needed Medical Supplies

This is how government works. A Republican makes a decision and the democrats criticize and try to block the decision. A democrat makes a decision and the republicans criticize and try to block the decision. That way nothing gets done.
There is no government that gave me my job. I relied on myself, not the government.
In this time of crisis, the government hasn’t delivered toilet paper to my house.
It’s a sad state of affairs when people want the government to do everything for them.
Where in the constitution covers this crisis?

Some Democrats love to post how much they want to military to mass murder Americans who resist the government in anyway.

Once again, the Democratic Party was and is the greatest enemy the USA has. It should have been outlawed when the First Democrat president defied a US Supreme Court to put tens of thousands of Native Americans - mostly women, elderly and childre on a 1,000 on foot death march to steal land the literally legally owned and were farming and ranching on - so white people could farm and ranch on it and steal their homes. If not at that time, certainly after the Civil War.

This is a very simple question to answer for topic of police seizures without a court order:

14th Amendment

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

New Jersey is a state. Masks are "property." A governor's order is NOT due process. Court orders are due process.

People who support white supremacy, neo nazism, and other despicable ideologies, and try to use force of arms to get their way? They chose to take the risks, so they get to face the consequences of those actions. If the US government had actually enforced the constitution and utterly crushed the Klan and other neo confederate scum like it was supposed to we wouldn’t be having as many issues.

Andrew Jackson did that....to appease a bunch of folks who would join the Confederacy years later.

Back in the days when the Democrats were a deeply Conservative party, due to the fact that it’s base was rooted in the south.

Funny how most Democrats will always furiously try to deny the history of the Democratic Party.

Yes, the police and militias enforced slavery, tracked down slaves, slaughtered Native Americans, lynched blacks - just as you say the government should do - and they were all Democratic governments and authorities. The Democratic Party is still the party of slavery, racism and racial segregation - and always will be.

Please provide the exact point where I said government should always lynch African Americans and enforce slavery, or murder Native Americans. I’ll wait.

There is no ethical theory that allows the police to kill someone (by stealing their anti-covid-19 supplies) to save someone else they claim is more important.

If a search and seizure is not unreasonable, it is constitutional. Politics is related to government, but politics is not our government. Even politics have to be held accountable
