I got drafted. Do you truly think it is an honor that I got drafted? I grew up with young men who worked hard not to be drafted. Deferements for college. I went to college but had no deferment. But I got drafted later on. Do you think the Army treated we Draftees like heros? Tom a buddy of mine got married and had kids so he did not get drafted. A lot of men did not get drafted.
