Stop paying attention to Trump

This is a policy that I adopted a week ago, he is incompetent and brings nothing to the table, only confusion and pettiness.

This is far too serious a matter to waste our time actually listening to his bile, instead I suggest we all listen primarily to those who are responsible for setting our state's policies.

That trump is incompetent is evident to anyone who has ever managed large number of people or managed complex projects as I have.

He simply doesn't know what to do, all his life he has simply bullied, intimidated and fired people, this is his management tool kit, he applies this whenever he is required to take action and the result is always the same, confusion, bitterness, pettiness, name calling, hand waving, insults etc.

I've managed sizeable projects and been accountable for delivery on time with numerous people and other resources and complex interdependencies.

This pandemic blows away even the largest of projects and requires very experienced planners and managers, sadly we have a dufus prattling on like a spoiled brat.

What would you like to see him doing differently than he is today?

Good policy. I also put most of the extreme forum Trumpeteers on ignore, because it's like a broken record at this point. Ironically, by doing this I just now realized how *much* time they have to post. It really stands out because ignored posts in a thread have their own look.

You have 156 posts here. Nobody cares what you think.

I have been ignoring the man for 3 years, another few months is not a problem.

How angry are you that Trump's approval ratings are skyrocketing (as your Ms. Mitchell put it) because he's dominated the press during his coronavirus briefings?
As angry and Rachel Maddow?

Ya ever wonder why Jim Acosta gets a seat to displace an actual, serious journalist when CNN won't even run the pressers?

Discuss.

I'm generally not a big fan of CNN, but I agree Trump's pressers should not be broadcast live. He's basically using the opportunity to run campaign rallies, and spreads a lot of misinformation, not to mention the red meat for the more idiotic supporters who enjoy his bashing of his perceived "enemies." The contents of his pressers can be evaluated for truthfulness, and any information from the experts can be aired numerous times later.

I don't give two hoots about Trump's ratings. I know he thinks he is outdrawing The Bachelor which, incredibly, he actually claimed, but I have faith that the majority of Americans see him for the fool he is.

I never ignored anybody on a forum, just as easy to bypass the loons. I do however ignore everything Trump pukes out of his fat trap....it has no value...it is dishonest....it changes constantly to suit his mood. I'd much rather pay attention to the adults who can hold a thought for more than a minute and who can speak like intelligent human beings....not an emotionally retarded and mentally deficient egotistical career user manchild.

Well said, agree, thank you.

Not angry at all. People want to rally around the president in a time of crisis. The fact that he only has a 60% approval rating instead of 95+ is telling. The bump will flatten out because, at the end of the day, he's still Trump.

Idiot leftists in this country have been fabricating **** and pissing themselves 24/7 over the man for 4 straight years literally non-stop...and NOW...NOW you are saying you should ignore him?

You are about 4 years too late.

Actually Gallup's Poll is recent.

Keep up. Gallup poll shows 60% of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the pandemic.
I'm not interested in comparing your red herring to the above.

Gallup’s poll is in the distant past. Keep ignoring the Rasmussen polls of today.

You can't ignore Trump!

I'm predicting the spread of at least 5 thousand more anti Trump threads.

Just to be clear we have a lot of folks in government that were put there by Obama, too. And Bush, and Clinton. Once they get in they're harder to get out than blood stains.

Yes, and when **** goes wrong, in the public or private sector, it's almost always a management problem.

You are still comparing apples to orange. Two different types of polls. One compares approval ratings, the other compares his job with pandemic, the latter I mentioned. You are moving the goal posts.

I thought you had no faith in Rasmussen?
I guess some change their minds like the wind changes direction. ;)

If you really ignore it, why keep making threads about it then?

There will never be enough...

Your first mistake is thinking that management in government is anything like management in the private sector. They are completely different.

Ya dont say? Someone shoulda told twump that!

I ignore it as not giving it any credibility, I ignore it because everything he says is a lie or an exaggeration or a fantasy. I will not protect the scumbag or make excuses. I will post about everything corrupt he is doing and everything he is lying about to the American people. You and your buddy need to get a life, you both are so mesmerized by my threads. I can see how Trump so easily brainwashed the two of you.

I'm talking about political appointees, not career workers who DO THEIR JOB regardless of who is president, regardless of politics. But, those political appointees give those workers their marching orders and are the ones that must approve their output and can by authority massage their work as they see politically fit.
