I am going to hope that they are just letting him go out there and spew his nonsense but behind the scenes are doing the right thing.

So because some Governors, in speaking out for their citizens, are critical of the Federal response, they are not on the team? Best to sit quiet and watch your ciitizens die then to speak out and try to get additional help?

Glad I don't live in the U.S. where the President only cares about your life, if your Governor happens to say nice things about him.

With Trump everything is transactional; he still thinks he's selling buildings. 'You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' is about as deep as it gets with that sad, insecure little individual. He cares about nothing other than what's in it for him. And in this case the 'what' is praise. I'm also glad I don't live in the US-how embarrassing it must be knowing one's 'leader' (and I use that term advisedly), is Donald Trump.

The one major thing we've learned from this crisis, is that Liberals can't be relied upon during a crisis.

Yeah, that's exactly right. Instead of publically pissin-n-moanin about "Orange man bad", they should be on the horn with the president's team talking about to make things better. Publically bitching about it fixes nothing.

If this thread is evidence of anything, it’s that Republicans need to be fired out of a canon from all seats of power. That’s really the only solution at this point. It would have been nice if we could have made that choice before they gave us a massive pandemic, but there it is.

We're working very closely with the states folks, very close. And our partnership is beautiful folks. You should see it. The governors, they're all so happy with us folks. And they're getting everything that they need. The ventilators, the PPE. Everything folks. We're doing it. And the governors, they're very happy with me.

I guess trump has decided he doesn't need Michigan this November. Perhaps he'll decide he doesn't need Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia or Arizona too.
