House was in session for 115 seconds this morning. Obviously, not vote on Coronavirus stimulus bill. What the **** is going on with Pelosi. She gonna sit on it for a month like the Articles of Impeachment? Is she secretly working to elect Republicans?

How did you run things when you were Speaker of the House of Representatives?

She's following McConnell's lead.

I thought they reached a deal already?

"Ladies and gentleman, we are done," White House legislative affairs director Eric Ueland said right before 1 a.m. after leaving Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's office following negotiations that have gone around the clock since last Friday. "We have a deal."

More than two months of downplaying and "hoax" BS from this do-nothing administration as this virus was allowed to spread out of control and cripple the economy, but we have to 'impeach' Pelosi (which I assume you think is a thing that could actually be done) because she hasn't yet passed a Senate bill that the Senate hasn't voted on yet. Brilliant.

Yes, we've heard it all before. If only we had tested more people, if only we had paid sick leave, if only we had universal healthcare... we could have avoided this just like they did in Europe.

Give it a rest.

The House of Representatives did not take up the Senate COVID-19 relief bill for a vote because it has not yet been voted upon in the Senate. There is no Senate-passed bill to vote for yet.

Yes, the House bill didn't go over so well with the public.

The Senate bill is 100% better thanks to the Democrats:

Real restrictions on what the Republicans intended to be a half-trillion dollar slush fund for Trump to share with his friends in secret. Now there will be a congressional oversight panel to examine how the money is allocated. Schumer’s office also announced they secured a provision that will “prohibit businesses controlled by the President, Vice President, Members of Congress, and heads of Executive Departments from receiving loans or investments from Treasury programs.” The children, spouses or in-laws of lawmakers and executive officials also cannot receive these loans.

Much more money for unemployment insurance for laid-off workers. The new bill will increase unemployment insurance by $600 per week for four months. This money is in addition to what states pay as a base unemployment salary. This benefit would extend to gig economy workers, freelancers, and furloughed workers who are still getting health insurance from their employers, but are not receiving a paycheck.

$150 billion for hospitals.

Schumer also said about $150 billion of federal money would be allocated for state and local governments who are dealing with the impacts of the crisis in their local communities, including $8 billion for tribal governments.

Includes more than $15 billion in additional funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.

Thanks to the Democrats.

Sounds like Trump's catastrophic mishandling of the crisis has put you in a bad mood.

Pelosi is considering trying to pass it by unanimous consent so she can avoid calling all the members back into a crowded chamber to vote.

Bad mood? Posts like yours keep me laughing.

Oh, you didn't hear that the House tried to put together their own bill?

The House originated and passed the only two Coronavirus bills signed into law so far.

Yup, very important right now. Very.

LOL, I KNEW this thread would inspire all the hard core Democrat apologists and disciples. "My party right or wrong" - correct guys? It's absolutely essential to delay federal aid to people suffering from COVID-19 or its societal side-effects until we can force companies to gather and submit to the feds more statistics on our employees' race, sexual preference, marital status (including gender and species of spouse) before we provide more medical equipment and assistance to the cities and states being swamped by the pandemic, right? Absolutely critical that airlines lower their carbon footprint before we buy more PPE and ventilators, right?

I try to think "We're all Americans" but those folks that support this kind of total contempt, and that's what it is, towards the suffering of my fellow Americans looses the right to can themselves "Americans", just call yourselves "****ing Democrats" from now on.

We do know what to do, T, and you're not going to like it.

Yes we know you will keep supporting the Trump Dick Sucking (TDS) Brigade. It's funny you are complaining about this but have no problem with McConnell sitting on house bills that were passed. Get off your soapbox rant, your hypocritical view has no standing.

Suddenly she wants to see what's in it to pass it. Far cry from Obamacare.

How in the hell do you mispell TRUMP that badly that it comes out PELOSI?

How did you run things when you were Speaker of the House of Representatives?

How did Nancy run things when she passed Obamacare without knowing what was in it? Was she Speaker then???

I don't know Bulls, do you really care that much? Never knew you to be so adamant about helping others. Mostly you want your side to look good.
