Being the "numbers wonk" you are, why don't you see that we've hardly tested anybody to truly know how many cases we really have? We don't even know how bad our situation is.

I live in Oswego County in Central NY, on Lake Ontario. We have no cases reported but yet decisions made for NYC are adversely affecting us in Oswego. There is no reason why we can’t get back to work.
Cuomo has no clue what the rest of the state is doing. As is always the case downstate is a first priority for Cuomo because that is the area that elects him into office. The rural counties are conservative and are ignored by Cuomo.

Exactly right. This thing won't approach the flu. If we did not intervene, it would probably be about the same number of casualties as the flu. This is why I have to wonder if this thing is an overblown fraud, designed to destroy the economy and get rid of Trump. We have seen the left is not at all above this. Just look at the attempted coup and bogus impeachment charges.

OK. The first test comes in. The total for March 24 was 55,112. So the increase from March 21 - 24 was only 206%. That's a greater drop than I predicted. Love it. I now say tomorrow's total will not hit 70,000

Daily deaths rose by 50% though. We now have 163 per day.

I haven’t been tested. Why, because I have no symptoms.
.00001% of the population in Oswego county tested positive, let’s make the other 118,400 of the population suffer. Oswego County is not a rich county. Jobs are tough to come by.

It would be great if we were back to normal by Easter, I'm not sure we will be though. Trump likes to make bold claims that may not be represented by reality. We're going to have to see where this ends up when it's all over. It is quite possible that due to social distancing and our shutting things down, that we won't see the numbers of the swine flu and such.
