I think there is a clear list of those responsible for this pandemic and the damage it has caused.

1) China...Obvious

2) WHO/CDC...They clearly did not have the world ready for this. They were not prepared.

3) Obama.....Did not restock the supplies he used during his pandemic.

4) Democrats/liberals....Open borders have helped the spread...Over regulation has slowed down the cure.

5) Europe!...Agan open borders.

6) Democrats/Republicans....Both have been incredibly irresponsible with spending throughout the years.

Please discuss!

7) President Donald Trump for failing to take the appropriate measures and listen to his advisory staff and intelligence services to better prepare for the onslaught of a debilitating and deadly virus that can be spread asymptomatically and being in the habit of taking the evil, lying fascist Chinese government at its word. He is the man at the helm. It is his responsibility.

Hahahahahaahaha. Nope.

Trump has been in office for a while now. You don't get to whattabout to Obama, especially not when Trump spent the entirety of his time in office claiming credit for the booming economy Obama handed him

What a surprise - No listing for the man who's stated mission his been to repair Obama's errors but in three years did nothing about those supplies, even reduced the government's pandemic response capability and now distances himself from his own medical professionals on the witless premise that "the cure is worse than the disease". Seems to me he deserves to head the ticket here.

I mean, he might have to be moved up to #2

That is actually correct. From Bloomberg News:

The national stockpile used to be somewhat more robust. In 2006, Congress provided supplemental funds to add 104 million N95 masks and 52 million surgical masks in an effort to prepare for a flu pandemic. But after the H1N1 influenza outbreak in 2009, which triggered a nationwide shortage of masks and caused a 2- to 3-year backlog orders for the N95 variety, the stockpile distributed about three-quarters of its inventory and didn’t build back the supply.

Haha!

Op is just parroting:

Coronavirus tests: Trump blames Obama, says '''I don'''t take responsibility at all'''

“Who me?”

“You talking to me?”

Trump also had no problem with John Bolton firing the entire NSC pandemic team, the very people who job it was to track global epidemic threats to this country.

That President Trump is an irresponsible dishonest reprobate is not what I am disputing. I am saying that on a factual level, Barack Obama had nearly seven years after the H1N1 outbreak to restock the Federal government's stockpile of emergency supplies but failed to do so.

How long has the present admin been in power?

One of your earlier posts stated that there was a 2-3 year backlog to get the supply of M-95 masks back to the requisite level?

Indeed. But it must be remembered: The H1N1 outbreak was in 2009. Even with a 3-year backlog, it should have been replenished by the earlier part of Obama's second term but was not.

C’mon, man! This admin was forewarned. If there was a 2-3 year backlog in JAN17, it’s not on the prior admin since JAN20.......

I'm in total agreement.

My point was not to say "Donald Trump has no responsibility because Barack Obama failed to replenish the Federal stockpile."

My point is this: Barack Obama did not replenish the stockpile. Kind of like failing to gas up the rental car before returning it to Hertz. It is still the next renter's responsibility to look at the fuel meter, but that does not obviate the prior renter's responsibility to refuel the car.

There are plenty of factors in play, but each countries leader is responsible for their country. Trump had time to prepare and take action. He did not.

I find your posts to be positive more than partisan. Using your example, the next renter’s responsibility is to make sure the tire are properly inflated. The rear view mirror is adjusted, same with the seat..........do I expect Trump to get out in the weeds as far as respirators/masks, no, but blaming the prior driver while constantly stating that the prior driver couldn’t drive to save his life on an extended “rental,” just rings hollow.....

Yes, this is Obama and everyone else fault, but the guy in the Oval Office, he's good.......10 out of 10 amirite.....

People can cry about Obama didn't do this, Obama didn't do that. However Obama saw the country through the pandemic without sacrificing lives needlessly. Trump had 3 years to prepare. He made it worse.

And for not properly predicting that this virus, unlike any before, would be millions of times more contagious and billions of times more deadly than anything we have ever seen.

I don't think pointing fingers serves any purpose at this point. I want the country to open again. We can still wash our hands and watch how close we get to people.

Most people are not going to die from this thing. Let's stop the fear and panic and get back to work, and school.

I'm with Trump. Let's open back up by Easter.
