Just returned from LaGuardia airport

I just got home from picking up my son at LaGuardia airport which is in Queens, NY. The borough of Queens has over 1,042 known cases of Coronavirus. Many people exiting the baggage claim were wearing masks, some had gloves also. And some had no protection. Even the men wearing the 'port authority' jackets had no protection.

My son was the most covered up of anyone including his hair, face, hands, long sleeves. His flight stopped in Ft. Laurderdale and he said he didn't see a single person wearing a mask or trying to stay at least 6 feet away from anyone. One of the guards asked him 'what's all that?' referring to his mask and gloves. Those people and many others are the reason epidemics become pandemic.

There's people coming into Ft. Lauderdale from all over the world and spring break people returning back to wherever they came from. Nobody cares, nobody is alarmed. These are the culprits that bring their virus to others, and those others die. This is why I am 100% certain that this virus is going to absolutely devastate this country, not only the economy, but it's going to take many more lives before it's under control.

People are so ****ing stupid.

That there are experts in this remarkable nation of ours that can do so is a given. That they have not been summoned to the front is also clearly evident. If your place of work furloughs every worker, what's your option then? You can't go to work if there's no work to go to. Sheltering in place is going to have to happen just to get the curve of this spiraling epidemic to begin going down.

If you don't trust all these 'experts' that you appear to be so skeptical of, then why not look up the recommendations of the CDC or Dept of Homeland Security? Would you be skeptical of those as well? Right now, all you're doing is resisting what the CDC is recommending because you simply do not want to be told what to do. That's a problem for you and everyone that comes in contact with you.
