Many Millennial seem to be unconcerned about the virus since young people seem to do OK with it. They even invented a hash tag #BoomerRemover to push their point that the virus is not their fight.

I suggest we round them up, put them in a secure military base on the ocean. It can be set up just like Spring Break with booze, sun screen, blankets and towels, military level broadband, and everything else you'd expect on a Florida beach. (Except for eye rolling soldiers standing guard!) Then we give them the Wuhan virus, take care of them while they get through it and then when they are discharged, extract a pint or two of plasma, and pay them a couple of grand*.

They will contribute greatly to herd immunity, and provide plasma to create temporary immunity for essential workers, as well as being able to work without being a infection target.

It's a win win.

* or a student loan credit. I'm liking this incentive... !

It would be cheaper just to give us some Xbox cards and we will stay in the basement ;)

No we really need your antibodies, and your ability to work in a labor short economy. You won't miss the pint, and the cash is certainly useful.

No one is mad at you. But... At least the basement is cleaned out. ;)

Millennials are in their 30s. They're not on Spring Break.

latest reports are that 20-59 year olds are also being hospitalized as a percentage of infected. Their rate of death is lower than 60+, but they are still needing ventilators/respirators and are at greater risk of death once those complications arise.
And any in that age group w/pre-existing, is again, at higher risk.

Didn't the UK min-me-Trump run his mouth about herd immunity? What happened to that? Did he 180 like Trump.

I dont think you can judge all millennials or even a majority of millennials by the actions of a bunch of spring breakers.

There is an article today about the dropping mortality rate.
Coronavirus death rate drops: Better math, better treatment or more testing? | Just The News

Even in China, where things looked really bad, the mortality rate is now at a third of first estimates.
Mortality is heavily concentrated in those with limited respiratory reserve capacity.
Access to and quality of medical care is key.
