Nearly everything you think you know is a lie.

Of course, the thread title is correct.

I will never forget a comment that I once read that went something like this:

Whenever you read a newspaper or magazine article about something, you can be sure that the writer intentionally or more likely unintentionally left out vital information or gave false information. Many times a person who actually knows the facts about a situation will shake his/her head when reading an article about it.

A few years ago, a young reporter wrote an article explaining that passenger trains between Los Angeles and San Francisco could never cross some particular mountains because it was just too difficult to do so. What that whippersnapper didn't know was that thousands of people (including me as a child in the 1950s) regularly crossed those mountains in trains (until train service petered out in later years).

Today, of course, we are getting a lot of false information about COVID-19. Usually because of ignorance, not necessarily malice. A year from now, some "experts" are going to be mighty embarrassed.

Ignorance, but more active, by fear. Inspiring fear, whether about hurricanes or virus or anything else, is the purpose of today's mainstream media.

As long as they can control the narrative (and there are signs they are losing control of the narrative) the "experts" will not be embarrassed.

Good that someone had the guts to step in, and say that everything you know is wrong!

What does he know? Perhaps you would like to provide some evidence that not everything you know is wrong?

Everything I know about which subjects? How do you know that you are not wrong about everything?

History, politics, most science and medicine, space, how money works, on and on. It's difficult when you finally see the scope of the lies, but like the former director of the CIA said,

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." William Casey.

With this covid psyop working so well I have to assume mission accomplished.

At least someone told you.
This thread is a lie.

All that you need to know is that you're being lied to. You don't even need to be a conspiracy theorist, I could list facts all day that prove it.

You are part of it, you are lying

I trust only facts I see with my eyes. I trust no person.

Anarchist100:

If you trust no person, then you cannot trust yourself, nor what your own eyes are seeing. Since by your own statement, no person can be trusted and given that you are a person, then why should anyone here trust what you say or post? As to "facts" see my signature quotation below.

Cheers and be well.

Quite correct one must not be to quick to trust one's own perception.
