    I retired at 54, almost 14 years ago. Of course no one is going to keel over @ SCOTUS given their docket.

    I don't know about Thomas - I've never had a good "feel" for him first nor last - but personally, I think Alito is just having too much fun to retire. Hard to give it up when you're living your dream.

    Their retirements seem to be based on their political leanings and which party is in office. Telling me Ginsberg isn't ready to give it up by now? Robert's is the wild card in this...lol.
