The US Navy secretly designed a super-fast futuristic aircraft resembling a UFO, documents reveal

Remember those UFO videos captured by Navy pilots and released by the Navy a few months back?

A whole TV show was devoted to them, speculating they were from outer space. The pilots said they looked like big "tic tacs" you know, the breath mints.

Funny thing, though, as Professor Simon on YouTube pointed out, the Navy recently patented an antigravity device that looks like, you guessed it......

    a tic tac.

Hey, maybe those things the pilots saw was a black project program, they are ours!

US Navy patents anti-gravity aircraft which looks like an alien UFO | Metro News

The US Navy has been granted a patent for an advanced aircraft which resembles a flying saucer UFO. Military inventors filed plans for a highly unusual flying machine which uses an ‘inertial mass reduction device’ to travel at ‘extreme speeds’. What that means is that the aircraft uses complex technology to reduce its mass and thereby lessen inertia (an object’s resistance to motion) so it can zoom along at high velocities. The patent is highly complex and describes methods of reducing the mass of an aircraft using various techniques including the generation of gravity waves, which were first detected in 2016 after being produced when two black holes collided.

It certainly is plausible, especially if one believes what Bob Lazar had to say in the last decade or two. We've been reverse engineering alien craft at least since Roswell. That's what's going on in Area 51

Reverse engineering is a sound principle. And if IN FACT an advanced craft were found or captured or whatever there is no reason that engineers would not attempt to extract advanced technology and materials and attempt to created craft which exploits those technologies and materials. But the proof that such craft from outer space were recovered has not been shown... And by proof I mean not reports, eye witnesses but actual physical crafts or parts of them. I remain skeptical of these reports without seeing "hard" evidence coming from reliable sources. I recall seeing all sorts of presentations which looked like simulations and mock ups... mostly of the aliens found. I found them not credible.

I realize that for the USG or any government for that matter to release the discovery of "alien" or advanced technology discovered from a crashed craft has huge "political" implications. Are we earth dwellers at the mercy of advanced extra terrestrials? What were these crafts doing here or are doing here? It appears that they are doing nothing untoward if they are visiting.

Science IS looking for signs of advanced extra terrestrial civilizations and so it's not that they deny the possibility of its existence. The signs would be communications which WE believe are mission critical to any advanced civilization.

Can you cite any engineered feature now incorporated into aviation or space technology derived from reverse engineering of an alien craft?

If a new technology is introduced... why can't it be a derivative of terrestrial engineering and technology?
    Nothing is as it appears.

With all due respect, and from having read the majority of your posts here, your world view is formed by what authorities tell you. You believe what they tell you to believe, and think as they want you to think.

To answer your question regarding engineered features and technology, as Philip Corso noted in his book, night vision goggles derived from technology discovered in the Roswell crash. They first appeared during the Vietnam conflict, and today are common in many areas. One might argue that the HUD units common in military and civilian aircraft are evolutions of those devices.

    Corso was wrong

Night vision and infrared vision were first in use/developed in the 30s

So I would say that Roswell was not the source of the technology, but evolution's from previous technology developed in the 30's and 40's

In 1929, Hungarian physicist Kálmán Tihanyi invented an infrared-sensitive electronic television camera for anti-aircraft defense in the UK.[4]

The first military night-vision devices were introduced by the German Army as early as 1939 and were used in World War II. AEG started developing the first devices in 1935. In mid-1943, the German Army began the first tests with infrared night-vision (German: Nachtjäger) devices and telescopic rangefinders mounted on Panther tanks. Two different arrangements were created and used on Panther tanks. The Sperber FG 1250 ("Sparrow Hawk"), with range up to 600 m, had a 30 cm infrared searchlight and an image converter operated by the tank commander.

An experimental Soviet device called the PAU-2 was field-tested in 1942.

From late 1944 to March 1945, there were some successful tests by the German military of FG 1250 sets mounted on Panther Ausf G tanks (and other variants). By the end of World War II, approximately 50 (or 63) Panthers had been equipped with the FG 1250 and saw combat on both the Eastern and Western Fronts. The "Vampir" man-portable system for infantry was used with StG 44 assault rifles.[5]
Of course those were using infrared emitters rather than amplifying ambient light like night vision does today

T72 aka HD is not as much of a free thinker as he claims. His old post pretty much proves that.

    Physics question.
What would happen if you placed three gyroscopes, onto a rotor in a triangular pattern, and then spun that triangular rotor as if it was its own gyro at sufficient speed?

Is that the one China stole the plans for, worked out the kinks, and we stole back?

Weren’t Vietnam era starlight scopes the first passive night vision systems fielded?
