I'm not usually one for 9/11 conspiracies. For me it's clear that there were hijackers, they flew planes into buildings, and the standard narrative makes sense.
What I've heard recently does raise a few questions for me and I'd just like to know what's the standard narrative on this. There were reports from eyewitnesses of explosions from the basement of the World Trade Center. The lobby was a mess, and sound came from below, not above. Then there's also George Stephanopoulos talking about smoke in the subway (unless I'm misunderstanding and he's talking about after the collapse?). How does that happen from explosions way high up in the building?
Anyway, I (with my nonexistent knowledge of engineering) have no idea what to make of these, so I wanted to know what's the standard response to this. Thanks!
