The official medical story about cardiovascular disease (CVD) is that it's caused by high levels of cholesterol in the blood. This causes arteries to become blocked, resulting in heart attacks or stroke.
But wait a second. We know that the major causes of CVD are cigarette smoking and diabetes. So how could cholesterol be the number one cause?
Mainstream medicine tries to prevent or control CVD by prescribing cholesterol-lowering drugs, such as statins. Drug company research tells us statins rarely cause side effects, and they are very effective at preventing death from heart attack or stroke.
See any contradictions?
It is known that about one percent of the population has extremely high cholesterol for genetic reasons. Yet if your cholesterol is high your doctor will say it's genetic. Without testing. Just assuming you have something only one percent of the population has.
For those people, statin drugs might be necessary.
For everyone else, they are not necessary and they are VERY LIKELY to damage your health. For example, you will probably get muscle pain and weakness. Which your doctor will tell you is a normal result of age!
The cholesterol story is mostly BS. Just think about it for a second.
Is it a conspiracy? Well, in the sense that the drug companies are making a killing on statin drugs which are prescribed to many millions of healthy people. But they might believe some of their lies.
