Yeah, that's why Russians did everything they could to support Trump over Clinton...

Russians shifted from supporting Clinton to Trump only at the end. This was due to Clinton trying to convince voters she wasn't in Russia's poke after it exposed the over $100,000,000 to the Clinton's foundation and half a million into Bill Clinton's pocket - while Russia took Crimea and 20% of our uranium in return. To do so, Clinton repeated promised she would order or military to directly attack the Russian military, the insanity of WW3.

If someone was running for leader of Russia promising if elected he would order all American planes that fly over Germany to be shot down we would intensely oppose that Russian candidate. But, then, no country more messes with other countries governments and elections than the USA.

The whole uranium business is BS

Also, Putin blamed Clinton for protests against him since 2011...

With the protesters accusing Putin of having rigged recent elections, the Russian leader pointed an angry finger at Clinton, who had issued a statement sharply critical of the voting results. “She said they were dishonest and unfair,” Putin fumed in public remarks, saying that Clinton gave “a signal” to demonstrators working “with the support of the U.S. State Department” to undermine his power. “We need to safeguard ourselves from this interference in our internal affairs,” Putin declared.
Why? Here is one potential reason...

Putin, according to U.S. officials who met with him at the time, concluded that the Americans were most interested in pursuing regime change for governments they disliked, first in Baghdad and Tripoli and later in Damascus. Eventually he became convinced that it was the Kremlin that the United States most wanted to change. Logically, Clinton, a strong proponent of U.S. military action in Libya and Syria, would be on the side of those seeking new leadership in Moscow, he believed.

War isn't about disagreement. It's about the acquisition of land and resources, or preventing someone from taking your land and resources. Disagreements are just the excuse used to invoke patriotism/nationalism in the proletariat.
If you have to resort to insults, name calling, ad hominem attacks, straw men, red herrings, appeals to authority, and other dirty debate tactics, the veracity of you argument is questionable.

There are many reasons for wars, and for violence in general. When people, or nations, can't resolve differences by talking, or by separating, the last resort is violence.

Pacifism assumes that all differences can somehow be resolved. There is no rational basis for that assumption.
