Notre Dame fire act of 'divine retribution'

What will these whackos come out with next?

Rabbi Shlomo Aviner suggests Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was divine retribution for the mass-burning of Talmud volumes by French Catholic priests centuries earlier.

Radical rabbi says Notre Dame fire retribution for 13th-century Talmud burning | The Times of Israel

And why did those priests burn multiple copies of the Talmud? Because it absolutely seethes with hatred of Christianity, that's why!

'Christianity, he explained, "is our number one enemy throughout history. [They] tried to convert us by arguments and by force, carried out an inquisition against us, burned the Talmud, expulsions, pogroms. Western anti-Semitism draws from Christianity's hatred of the 'murderers of God'. It also had a role in the Holocaust." '

So he can recall a radical German leader tried to wipe the Jews out, but totally fails to realize that tens of millions of Christians gave their lives to stop it.

This fruitcake is just like those other nutjob rabbis who tried to have + - the international plus symbol - banned because it closely resembled the symbol of Christianity.

Somebody keep these crazies away from those 300+ nukes in that country!

I don't know whose remarks are worse, yours or his. As if there is any justification for Christian anti-Semite in the Talmud. He is right that Christian have for as long as the religion has been around been claiming Jews committed deicide, the text even says that their guilt will be on subsequent generations. The Bible is to blame for anti-semitism being escalated even beyond where it was in the pagan Roman age.

However, the fire was likely a computer glitch and not an act of god.

Does he also claim that the holocaust was "divine retribution" for what Jews in the M.E. did in ancient history to other cultures and people of other religions as told in the Bible's Old Testament?

How many nuclear weapons does that Rabbi have?

Since he's French, you are claiming we need to force France to give up their nuclear weapons? How do you propose the USA does that? War against France?

Clearly, it was a human error. The contractor responsible for the scaffolding admitted that workers “flouted the smoking ban,” even though the company, Le Bras Freres, has a strict no smoking policy. Workers ignored the rule as it took too long to climb down for a smoke break and they were regularly smoking illegally.

Renovators working on Notre Dame cathedral were regularly smoking illegally before the fire that almost destroyed the famous Paris landmark, it has been reported.

Extensive interviews carried out by detectives since last week’s horrific blaze has led to a number of confessions, according to French media.

"In the hearings, some workers admitted that they were smoking on the scaffolding, despite the strict ban," says a shock report in the Canard Enchaine (The Chained Duck), France’s leading investigative news outlet.

Police have also found seven discarded cigarette butts on the scene, the publication adds.

While the cause of the fire is still considered accidental, any proof that a discarded cigarette butt led to the fire could result in a prison sentence.

When a 'religion' teaches that those born outside it are not human beings, rather they are sub-human (bet you didn't know that), then it's not surprising to see such reactions.

I bet he still holds Israeli nationality and considers himself first and foremost Israeli.

    Which crazies?

Some on, say it. Which category or class of persons are you calling the "crazies"?

Rabbis? Jews? If it's just crazies you didn't need to post much of those words, so you clearly meant more. Say it.

Crazy people make up a large part of the human population, and so much of that craziness is inspired by religious psychobabble.
